Snickerdoodles I

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2013
I've made this a couple times now, and we love them! For anyone out there who, like me, refuses to use shortening in anything, these turn out great using refined coconut oil. Besides that switch, I followed the recipe exactly.

Cinnamon Raisin Bread I

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2012
Made exactly as the recipe states (with the exception that the bake time should be more like 20 minutes, not 45!) and this is fabulous! I made a batch and gave the loaves out for Christmas, and everyone absolutely loved it. I've made again since and have found it slightly improved by adding a little cinnamon to the bread dough in addition to what goes in the swirl, and I also prefer using melted butter instead of milk for the swirl. I also prefer it with about one extra teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of vanilla in the dough. I'm about to make another batch for thank you gifts for various people - can't think of a better way to show appreciation than with this bread!

Creamy Vanilla Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2011
Absolutely delicious, easy to make, and no weird ingredients! I had everything already in the cupboard, and I don't have to worry about funky preservatives or anything. I've never made any kind of pudding or custard from scratch before, but this was super easy. My husband was in heaven!

All-Bran's Best Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2011
Very good recipe. Moist and sweet, and the OJ really adds a nice flavor. I only gave 4 stars however because they really need more salt in my opinion - they're a tad on the bland side.
