Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
Not addictive at all. Slightly below average. I think I might start over and use no mustard or soy sauce, just pinto seasoning and sweet potatoes and all the fixings. Of course salsa, maybe better that way?

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2008
This is a very good recipe, it has not finished yet, it has about 3 hours to go, but the broth is awesome. A tip I would like to share to making your meat tender is to soaking the meat in red wine vinegar preparation. The red wine really gives the meat a kick and the vinegar breaks the meat down to be more tender. I guarantee you will have the best beef stew doing so.

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2007
I liked this a lot,or atleast more than most sugar cookie recipes.I am going to use this as my rolled cookie recipe for decorative cookies this year. Not really strong ginger flavor, but it is there. I don't usually like gingersnaps either!

Thai Red Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
My favorite dish of all time is Red Curry Chicken from a place called Lemongrass and I believe it is untouchable. I would say this is a 1 star compared to that. It could be that my standards are way too high, because of this reason, and if I had never had their Red Curry Chicken, I might have rated this recipe higher. So take that into consideration.

Snickerdoodle Mix in a Jar

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2007
This was really good. Even though eveyone said Snickerdoodles were not their favorite cookie, they were the first type of cookies to be gone.

Hawaiian Waffles with Pineapple and Coconut

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2007
This recipe was disappointing. With all the fat in the ingredients, I was expecting a butt kicking, irresistable good waffle, and it was alright. Next time, I will go with Mom's Waffles, and cut the fat by just adding some crushed pineapple and coconut extract.

Goof Proof Coconut Curry Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
This really was goof proof. I made this for the fam and it didn't go over very well, but what do you expect with a meat and tater man and a 7 year old. This would be a staple if other people in my household were more adventurous.

Cranberry Hootycreeks

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
Freaking awesome, I would also recommend interchanging the white chocolate for butterscotch chips. However, once I made them in the jar, I realized it did not fill it all the way up. = ( but the cookies are great tasting.

Marbled Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
This is super duper yumarific. I didn't do the gingersnap crust. I just don't like the snaps, but I did use vanilla wafers and cinamon graham crackers crushed together. I would melt the butter next time to make the crust instead of softening it. It wasn't really "marblized" and I left out more just cheesecake batter than recommended, but the pumpkin cheesecake part was great!

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
Dang good! I doubled the topping, I don't think I will next time. My daughter wanted sweet potato casserole for dessert not pie or ice cream! This is a must for any Thanksgiving dinner.

Mother's Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
This was really good. This is not the traditional banana bread I am used to. It's not as moist but the crusty shell makes up for it.

Tina's Shortbread Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2006
Mmmm mmmm good. I made 1/2 of this batch and wish I made more! I only had margarine so I subbed 1/2 margarine 1/2 shortening. I didn't have coconut extract so I put in 2 tablespoons shredded coconut, and I didn't have mini morsels so I used regular size. I can't wait to make these for Christmas. I know a lot of shortbread cookie lovers. So good.

Jacked-Up Tuna

Reviewed: May 24, 2006
I haven't found a tuna recipe that tastes much different and more fantastic than adding a can of tuna and peas to a box of mac and cheese. I always add some extra cheese in when I made this. So if you like tuna casserole, or what we called tuna yuk you will like this, it's not worth the extra effort. Just make some mac and cheese and mix in tuna and peas.
