Mom's Best Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2008
We love See's peanut brittle and have tried to find a recipe that's similar. Although this was no See's, it was still good. I'll make it again sometime.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2008
My husband and very very picky 6 year old son loved this. Said I could serve it in a restaurant. I added a bit less salt that called for and didn't use the oil as others had suggested. I also used half and half instead and used mild Italian sausage. Turned out great. I'll be making this again for sure!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2008
I don't know, but these weren't that great. I followed the exact instructions and did not add or omit anything. Perhaps afer reading the other high rated reviews, I was expecting more. It just wasn't for me.

Seafood Scampi Linguine

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2008
This recipe was AMAZING! Just wonderful. I made it tonight for the entire family and it was a hit! Every ingredient was perfect. I would not change a thing! I followed it exactly. I have been looking for a seafood pasta recipe with a light sauce, nothing creamy and heavy. This did the trick and I will be making this regularly from now on. We just can't get enough!

Taco Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2006
I really enjoyed this recipe and my family thought it was good. Next time, I may add another 1/2 packet of taco seasoning and I added more cheese than called for. I'm glad I did. Any less would have been too little. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. Think of it as gourmet Hamburger Helper. The sour cream and green onions really topped it off. It would have been missing something without it. I will definitely be making this again.

Sushi Roll

Reviewed: May 1, 2006
My husband and I LOVE sushi, but this rice was WAY too sweet. I suggest cutting back on the sugar big time. I will stick to my original recipe.

Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2006
My husband really liked this. My 2 younger kids weren't too fond of it, but they liked the fish by itself. The sauce was spicy, but that's how my husband likes it. We will definitely be eating this again in the future and can't wait to add cilantro to the tacos. We're adding it to our recipe list. Thanks!

Seafood Lasagna II

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2006
My entire family loved this. My 4 year old son who is an extremely picky eater, went to town on this dish. My husband really enjoyed it. Normally things are "pretty good" but this time it was "really good". Trust me, that's an improvement and it means....LIKED IT! I didn't use baby portabello mushrooms (couldn't find them) - I just used regular mushrooms and didn't quite use a pound and I did not use scallops. I just doubled the crab. I also used canned white crab meat. I agree with others about the imitation crab tasting much too imitation. I followed the recipe exactly otherwise. I did end up with extra noodles, but I'm glad I didn't use them all. It turned out perfect. I will definitely be making this again in the future. It's a hit in my home!

Linguine with Clam Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2006
This was really oily tasting. We used way more garlic than suggested. We love garlic! Thanks goodness because it lacked some flavor. The parmesan cheese really made a difference once added to the top. Probably won't be making this again.
