Apple Brie Quesadillas

Love this combination. This was easy and delicious. I used Gala apples, sliced them and the onion on a mandalyn. Once assembled I finished it off in the quesadilla maker.

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Excellent recipe. I only made two changes, I used 2 cups of sugar and halved the flour with whole wheat flour. My mini loaves took 1 hour to cook. Really yummy and I am excited to have these and make again.

Pineapple Angel Food Cake I

I forgot about this recipe until my friend mentioned angel food cake one day. I had to find a recipe for temperature directions. I made this as directed and the center of my cake fell out of the pan when I flipped it over. Making another one as I type this and I didn't spray the pan this time. Hope it works. Cake is easy and delicious!

Grecian Pork Tenderloin

This was excellent! Very easy to make, once you juice all the limes. :) I did use fresh limes from my lime tree and used 1 1/4 cup of juice. I marinated for 2 hours but will definately do 5 hours next time for more flavor. Cooked 30 minutes and it came out perfect. This is being added to my 'favorite' folder.

Basic Fondue

Very good. I halved the recipe since it was just for me and my hubby, it was more than plenty. I usually make a white cheese fondue so this was a nice change and easy! Suggestion- if you use flour you are chancing it not being smooth. Sometimes flour clumps or gets gritty. My advice, I got this from all my other fondue recipes and did do it for this one, use cornstarch instead of flour. Use the same amount the same way you use the flour or you may coat the cheese with it and then add it to the liquid. Cornstarch doesn't clump and breaks down better than flour.

Margaritas

For the longest time I wouldn't drink tequila until I had a margarita at a friends house. This recipe is great and I really enjoyed it. I know many reviews added OJ to cut the tart/flavor but my friend used 2 frozen strawberries to do the same thing, I did this with this recipe. It does change the color but it was fantastic.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Great, easy, bar cookie. I halved the recipe and used a 9x13 pan. They took about 20 minutes to cook. I also used half milk chocolate chips and semi-sweet.

Grilled Flat Iron Steak with Blue Cheese-Chive Butter

Very good and very easy. I loved the Blue Cheese butter. I forgot the chives so had to leave that out, and I used a wedge of Lauging Cow Blue Cheese.

Pesto Turkey Burgers

Fabulous! This was full of flavor and easy to make. I didn't add the bread crumbs and the burgers formed and stay together pretty well while grilling. A few lost little pieces of their ends but the burger still had its shape.

Excellent. I didn't have the nuts so I had to leave them out but the topping was great. I also divided up the cherries in ramekins for single servings. We also enjoyed this with Lemon Sorbet.

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

This was great. I simmered it in a crock pot on low for 3 hours and it absorbed so much flavor. I did it a second time and didn't use the crock pot and did as recipe directs and felt it lacked the flavor, so simmer longer if you have the time.
