Candy Bar Freezer Dessert

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2007
This was fantastic! I took it to a party and it was gone in 30 minutes!! 3 people asked me for the recipe. I was wary of the saltines but I think they really helped cut some of the sweetness. Delicious!!!

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2007
I thought this was pretty bland yet very salty. I rinsed and drained my artichokes but it was still very watery. The chicken was moist but didn't really have any flavor but salt. I don't think I will make this again.

Caesar Hot Artichoke Dip

This went so fast I only got one taste but it was delicious! Will definitely make again! I served with plain bagel chips.

Hashbrown Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2007
This was pretty good but seemed to be missing something. I left the butter out but I don't think that is what it was....maybe real onion would have helped. Regardless, it disappeared in muinutes at my party and I will definitely make it again!

BBQ Cola Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2007
I always get tons of compliments on this recipe. I have made it 3 times--the first time I missed the ranch dressing package but it was still delicious so I just left it out. Otherwise I make it exactly as listed here and I always give people the link to the recipe!

Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2007
Delicious!!! I added a bit of minced garlic and a pinch of red pepper flakes to the egg for some extra flavor. I also pan fried in extra virgin olive oil rather than vegetable oil. Fantastic!! Next time I will try baking to cut down on fat but this was pretty perfect as is.

Mary's Roasted Red Pepper Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2006
I have had made this quite a few times and while I am not crazy about it, I always get asked for the recipe or to make it for parties. I add one small can green chili peppers, 1Tbl horseradish, 1/2 mayo 1/2 sour cream and a mexican cheese mixture. I also add a splash of hot sauce. This gives it a bit of a tangy kick but not spicy hot. I serve with bagel chips. Thanks Mary!! Thanks Mary!!!

Grecian Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2006
Delicious. I added an extra can of tomatoes, 4 tbls of seasoning and 6oz of artichoke hearts and this was flavorful and fantastic. The only thing I would do differently is pound the chicken a little thinner and marinate in Greek dressing--the chicken was a little dry but I think that was my fault and not the recipe. Outstanding!! Will be making again and again!

Sweet and Spicy Chicken Satay

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2006
Too sweet for me so I added ground red pepper flakes and extra curry. My guests raved though and there was none left so I guess it was a hit!

Bloody Mary Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2006
This was ok but I added a lot near the end because I wasn't too impressed. I had to add a TON of extra hot sauce even with the spicy Bloody Mary mix. I added some horseradish too. The sauce seemed very thin so I combined with 8oz of cream cheese to thicken. Next time I would marinate in bloody mary mix, horseradish and hot sauce before cooking but I will try again.

Easy Olive Martini Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2006
Yum!! I doubled the wet ingredients because I like extra sauce and tripled the green olives. It was great with some garlic mashed potatoes.

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2006
Very good. I used real chopped garlic and onion and mixed in some Paremsan cheese too. I also cooked in creamy tomato soup and sour cream mixture--makes the sauce thicker and isn't absorbed as quickly by the peppers/meat. Delish!!

Beer Chops II

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2006
I thought this came out pretty bland and I used a fairly dark beer. I had to add so many seasonings just to try and salvage dinner. I agree The pork chops were tender but unfortunately they were also flavorless.

Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2006
I was disappointed by this recipe. It really needs more bananas. They turned out moist but bland. It is a good base for a moist muffin but next time I will add vanilla, cinnamon and extra bananas.

Chicken Tetrazzini I

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2006
Had to add a lot of seasonings to this and it still tasted like pasta with a cream of mushroom sauce. My husband loved it though so I'll give it a 3. I wont make it again but he might!!

Italian Wedding Soup I

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2006
This is a great base to start with--you add or subtract for your own personal tastes!! I use half chicken broth and half beef--it seems to add the certain something that other reviewers thought was lacking. I also add about 1/4 cup chopped onion and 1 shredded chicken breast. The only other change I made was to use turkey meatballs (I browned them first) and pre-cooked the acini de pepe. Thanks Star!!

Restaurant-Quality Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2006
This recipe is fantastic. I did make a few changes since I doubled the recipe. Used 7 potatoes instead of just 4. Since previous posters said it was too thick I only used 1/4 cup cornstarch and 2 cups potato flakes--I used the garlic cheddar kind and it really added flavor. Even doubled we flew through the leftovers--I am making it again this weekend. Yum!!!!!!

Pretty Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2006
This marinade was delicious and the chicken was very juicy. I didnt use liquid smoke since we were grilling and it did turn out a little too salty but it still was great!! Next time I make it I will cut the soy sauce in half.
