Very good! I added a little cinnamon and vanilla for extra flavor.

English Royalty Chocolate Chip Scones

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2006
Very tasty!! I had to add more liquid to make the dough stick together. To bake them, I just pulled out small portions of dough and patted them down on the baking sheet, sort of like making cookies.

Chocolate Zucchini Bread II

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2006
I made this recipe using half applesauce and half vegetable oil, plus added extra cocoa powder. I made one loaf and used the rest of the batter for muffins (which I baked for 30 minutes). I liked the taste, but the muffins were a little dry. Maybe I cooked them a little too long?

I really enjoyed this recipe! I used fresh-squeezed orange juice and just loved the cake.

Very good, but they didn't rise that much. I'll have to give it another try!

Cinnamon Rolls II

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2006
Yummy, but they didn't rise very much. I think it's my fault since the fire in the oven went out halfway through their rising time and the kitchen wasn't that warm.

Oat Applesauce Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2006
A great, healthy recipe! Instead of buttermilk, I used plain yogurt with a little bit of peach yogurt (I can't find buttermilk in any supermarket in Chile, but plain yogurt works as a great substitute). I added a chopped up apple, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and a tablespoon of honey. I didn't have muffin tins, so I baked it in a 9x9 pan for about 45 min. It came out wonderfully! I can't wait to try this recipe as muffins.

Great bread! I used half whole wheat flour and half white flour and made it without a bread machine.

Apple Scones

Pretty good. I added two apples instead of one. They didn't rise very well, but were still quite tasty.

Jam Thumbprints

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2006
Great cookies! I doubled the recipe and used two eggs yolks plus one whole egg instead of four yolks. Also added the jam before cooking and skipped the egg whites and walnuts. The dough reminded me of spritz cookies.

Pumpkin Raisin Scones

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2006
These were very good, I saw the comments about how these scones are very muffin-like, so I decided to actually make them as muffins. I halved the recipe and made 12 large muffins.

Brownie Pudding

Reviewed: May 27, 2006
Yum!! Very good, should be eaten warm from the oven with ice cream on top. I added a little more chocolate and less brown sugar and water to the sauce.
