Very good and creamy. Very rich and decadent, a perfect match to Grandma Ople's Apple pie recipe, also on this site.

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2007
I used half Granny Smith and half Golden Delicious apples, added 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp fresh grated nutmeg, poured it over the apples in the crust. Applied the top crust, brushed it with cream and sprinkled with sugar. Very good pie. Apples were perfect, not too soggy, not undercooked. Excellent recipe.

Tangy Pork Tenderloin

Positively yummy. I have made this several times, once substituted 1/3 cup molasses for the honey and it was still very good.

Penne with Chicken and Asparagus

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
Very good and very light. I also used 3 chicken breasts and 12 oz of Barilla Plus Penne. Don't be shy with the seasoning of the chicken. Simple but surprisingly flavorful.

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2007
Very tasty soup. I took some of the suggestions here, used 1.5 lbs fresh broccoli and a little over 1 lb of Velveeta. Instead of sauteing onion in butter, I cooked the broccoli and onion in 2quarts minus one cup of chicken broth seasoned with the garlic powder. Then, I used one 12 ounce can of evaporated milk and mixed the cornstarch with the remaining cup of broth. I used my immersion blender to break up any big pieces of broccoli.

Greek Orzo Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2007
Very good, but it does make a lot. I had three very hungry men, and still had lots left. Used some italian dressing with lemon zest instead of the lemon juice etc... good make ahead side dish for a grilled mediterranean meal.

Buttery Rolls

Makes a gorgeous golden dough, easy to shape. Have used this dough in many different shapes. The rolls come out beautifully, not to sweet, light and fluffy.

Honey Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2007
I changed the servings to 15, used the dough cycle. Then rolled out into a circle and made crescent shaped rolls. Let rise 35-45 minutes, baked for 20 minutes on 350. A new healthy alternative. Will make again and partially bake, freeze and keep for busy days.

Very tasty. Like no bake cookies with similar ingredients. A little difficult to cut though.

Jalapeno Poppers I

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2007
I made these for my husbands weekly poker night and I was told they were gone in minutes. Did not have the leaking problem, maybe because I made them ahead and refridgerated them, then the guys baked them when they were ready.

Pineapple Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2007
I have made this many times. It is moist and tasty. The pineapple really adds something special. My teenage son eats a whole loaf in a little over a day. I mix the dry ingredients in one large bowl, then take the eggs, canola oil, unmashed bananas, pineapple and vanilla and use my immersion blender until the bananas are pureed and the oil is incorporated fully-almost like a mayonnaise. Then I add the wet to the dry. The bread comes out moist and tender, with the texture of a pumpkin bread.

Firecracker Grilled Alaska Salmon

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2007
My husband loved this recipe. I used the one teaspoon of red pepper flakes that was recommended by a lot of people. I also used 1 tablespoon of minced fresh ginger instead of the powdered ginger. It was also good on chicken. Half of our house likes fish, half does not, so I split the marinade between salmon and chicken. I baked the salmon for 15 minutes at 375 degrees and the chicken for 20 minutes. It was perfect!

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2007
I have made this many times. With different people on different schedules, I make them ahead and put them in the refridgerator so I can cook them as people come home for dinner. Add a salad and microwave a potato and you have a complete meal.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2007
These are awesome. I did divide the batter into twelve muffins and baked them about 25 minutes. The tops came out nice and crunchy, almost like individual blueberry coffee cakes. The muffins are very tender. This recipe is definitely a keeper.
