The Best Relish I've Ever Had

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
This relish is everything i hoped for. I remember having a simular relish as a 4-6 year old at the soccer club. Im 31 now and so happy to have found this recipe. I have been searching for a long time. It tastes exactly as i remember. I may reduce the sugar a little next time, but thats a personl preference. The stuff i remember was just as sweet as this relish.

I cant believe i never rated these. I have been using this recipe for years. They´re really good and pretty foolproof. im usually too lazy to make the glaze and when i do, half of them have been eaten bij the time they´ve cooled down enough. They´re awesome either way.

Mel's Magnificent Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
Very nice cookies. not at all what i was looking for, but they turned out wonderfull. I bet they'd just taste like subways with white chocolate chips and macademia nuts. They do come out very flat, but the taste is great. Made one batch, it was gone b4 it was cooled down.

Caramels I

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2007
absolutley awesome caramels. Only just starting with making candy and it i was very pleased with teh results. My first batch was way too soft tho, but that was my own fault. First time working witha candythermometer and cheated 3-4 degrees. Too soft, but did gave me awesome ideas about making it as piefilling. Keeping it in the freezer now to reuse later. Was patient on the 2nd batch and added some pecans with it. It was perfect. I did only use 2/3 of the butter tho, seemed plenty and it was.

Italian Herb Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2008
I just got myself a Kitchenaid standmixer and wanted to try out a good stiff dough to see how it would work (got a bit concerned after reading some reviews). It did fine tho and there were no problems. IT also made this recipe very easy as it doesnt require lotsof kneading. Anyways, this bread was very, very good. Nice soft texture. Will brush it with something next time to make it a bit crispier, but otherwise great.

Sunny Orange Lemonade

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2007
This was very good. A refreshing, not so tart lemonade for those that don't don't like tart lemonades. It really tastes like oranges. My husband loves it and asks for more. Next time i'll leave out the rind tho, cause not every1 likes those. Personally i really liked adding the rind, it gives it a very nice look and i dont mind the taste of them.

Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2006
These tuned out delicious, eventhough i didn't do it right. Accidentally took the almond extract instead of the vanilla. Added almost a teaspoon. Then i smelled the extract and chekced the bottle again. Made em anyways, no white chocolate tho, just semisweet and milk chocolate chips. They were just awesome. Reminded me of a subwaycookie. So will try them next time with white chocolate and some macadamia nuts. Update: made em with the vanilla. They were kind of bland, will only use almond from now on. Update2: did this recipe change?

Cranberry Upside-Down Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2006
This cake was just gorgeous. Every1 complemented it on it's looks. My version got a bit heavy tho, but still very good. Had no sour cream so substituted it with cream cheese and cooked it about 15 mins longer. Was just perfect. What a very simple and awesome recipe.

Bob's Habanero Hot Sauce - Liquid Fire

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
A very very good hotsauce. It has a great flavour, nice and spicy. I only used half the habaneros, making it less hot so i can eat it as well. Will make a batch like this again and another batch with the full amount of habaneros next time for my husband, who likes it a lot hotter. It also makes a great marinade for chicken or pork. Good stuff!!!

Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2007
First time i ever made homemade lemonade and it was absolutely awesome. I Just mixed the water with splenda and added the lemon juice. Just perfect. Very strong, just the way i like it. You can just add some extra water for those who like it a bit less sweet/tart.

Egg and Cheese Puffs

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2007
delicious. Omitted the butter and did use only half the amount of cheese listed. Also used shredded gouda, cause i didnt have the other cheese at hand. I kept eating them for both lunch and breakfast. they were a bit too salty tho, will use a bit less bacon next time. I also used a silicone pan for them. No sticking and cleans up easily.

Baklava

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2006
when i took the baklava out of the oven i thought it would be burned at first, cause the edges were pretty dark. And the syrup seemed so thin, really thought i messed it up. But... it ended up perfect. Best baklava i ever tasted. Not too overly sweet and nice and crunchy. It doesn't look awesome, but better than most (even storebought) baklava i've seen before.

Very good consistency. Very rich, but we love em. Will dip in milk chocolate next time and add some more cookies. They were also better on the next day imo. Best fudge i had so far and so easy to make.
