Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2009
I'm giving this 4 stars b/c it's easy and turned out very tasty! The au jus was great- not too salty. I followed the basic recipe, and added 1.5 tbsp worchestershire sauce as suggested below and some fresh ground pepper to the meat. So tender! With just me and the hubby, we're looking forward to all the leftovers.

Cantucci Biscotti

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2008
This was my second attempt at biscotti and they turned out soooo good! Even my husband liked them, and he hates biscotti. Was a bit worried when I put the dough onto the baking sheet as it was very ooey and gooey. Was afraid it would spread but it puffed up a bit in the oven and cooked out just right. Didn't have the hazelnut liqueur so used a chai liqueur instead and still turned out great. Thanks for the recipe, it was just what I wanted!

Double Chocolate Biscotti II

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2008
This was my first attempt at biscotti and came out well. I didn't have any chocolate chips, but the result was still nice. I agree with another reviewer that these were not as crunchy as biscotti I've bought before, but my friends and I enjoyed them nonetheless!

Garlic Curry Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2007
Curry flavor was mild, so next time I might add a little more. I used ground lamb instead and it was very tasty!

Chorizo Chicken Roll

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2007
Very easy to do. My husband enjoyed. We eat a lot of chicken so any new way to prepare it is a good thing. Since then, I've also used hot Italian sausage and works out well. Have made several times!

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2006
Loved this salad! I wanted a new salad for dinner (too hot for a heavy meal) and this really satisified me and my husband. I lightened it up a lot by cooking 1C whole wheat pasta and using a whole bag of tri-colored cole slaw. Since there were only two of us, I used 1.5 oz salami, 2 slices of bacon, 1 italian sausage, skin removed and cooked/crumbled. Didn't have asiago cheese so used 1oz blue. With all this meat, didn't use any oil.

California Slaw

Reviewed: May 9, 2006
This was a very tasty slaw! I didn't want to buy slaw dressing so I used 1/4 c of wasabi mayo instead, which added a nice kick. Even my husband liked it. :) Will definitely make again.
