I am.. a dork.
About this Cook
I'm 18 years old, recently moved out with my boyfriend of 5 years. He's a good tester and luckily likes most of my cooking! I love to experiment with my dishes and I prefer making new recipes rather than sticking with the tried and true. I work til 8pm, so anything quick and easy is great for me! :)
My favorite things to cook
Italian!! I love italian food.. pastas, meats, fish. Yum yum. I also like Indian food (being Indian myself), and as I said trying out new recipes. I love this site because I'm always finding new things to try!
My favorite family cooking traditions
You know, my family didn't really have any while I was growing up. Now, my boyfriend and I have started cooking together which is our sort of little tradition, I suppose. ;)
My cooking triumphs
Oh my, mostly everything I try from this site. My triumps are when people eat my food and say WOW! You're a great cook! After all.. who doesn't love praise!
My cooking tragedies
Many! How can you learn to cook without failing? I cannot remember any that have been so terrible, however. Just little things here and there.. forgetting to cook it as long as I should, forgetting a spice. Things like that!

Summer Chicken Salad
YUM! I used halved green grapes, pecans, leftover roast chicken and just a bit of sugar. Will let sit overnight but is already delicious!

Excellent. I used panko bread crumbs, and dried parsley. Crunchy, flavorful, really good! :)
