My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2007
Delicious! I cut the amount of butter in half and it still tasted great. Just like the caramel corn I have been buying at the mall. I cut the recipe in half since there's only 2 of us in the house. It still made a lot.

Macadamia Nut Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2007
these cookies came out really good. I only used about half as much nuts and only about 3/4 cups of chocolate chips. I felt that the amount of nuts and chips was too much for teh amount of dough, this is just my personal preference. Very delicious.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2008
This was delicious. I halved the recipe and used beef broth in place of the water. I cooked it for 7 hours on high and the meat fell apart and shredded easily. I served it with mashed potatoes

Grilled Bacon Jalapeno Wraps

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2008
These were really tasty! You need to watch them carefully on the grill and turn them often. I used Oscar Meyer center cut bacon and only used about 3/4 of a slice on each jalapeno. I put them in the refridgerator for about an hour before putting on the grill. I didn't have any problems with the cheese leaking. I didn't need to use toothpicks and just stretched the bacon and tucked it in. I might try adding some shredded cheese or garlic powder mixed in next time.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2008
This was really good even with the modifications I made. I made this with what I had on hand so I reduced serving size down to 8. I used reduced fat cream cheese, shredded parmesan and a little panko crumbs on top. I sprayed the top lightly with Pam cooking spray to crisp up. I put it in the oven at 375 for about 25 min. I served it with tortilla chips and also Ritz crackers. The Ritz were better because it gave it the crispy texture. This was so good that my husband and I finished the whole thing. Yum.

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2013
I used salted butter and omitted the salt. I cooked them at 350 since my oven runs high and cooked them for 9-10 min. They came out a little on the thin side but they were still good.
