About this Cook
I am the only female in a house of 5. I am married with 3 sons, even the dog and cat are boys! So needless to say, food is important in my house. I love to bake, and I am always trying new recipes to keep variety on the table. I absolutely LOVE All Recipes!!
My favorite things to cook
I am willing to try anything! Some of the most requested things that I cook are: Homemade Apple Pie, Beer Batter Fried Shrimp, Manicotti, Homemade Macaroni & Cheese........
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't have any family cooking traditions, but I hope to be the one to start them. Although, I have boys, so maybe at least one of them would like to cook! Everyone in my family loves when I cook for them though!! They buy what I need, and they send me to the kitchen!!
My cooking triumphs
Well, I am 30. When growing up, mom always bought frozen boxed meats and boxed potatoes!! So, when I got married, that stopped. In the last 10 years, I have cooked with fresh meats and veggies, and even learned how to modify recipes to my family's taste. Each time I cook I get better and better. I am now able to help others learn like I have, and it's a great feeling!!
My cooking tragedies
I have had a few, but that is how you learn! It's not always going to be perfect the first time!! I can't remember anything specific or recent.

Heavenly Hot Dog Sauce
I loved this recipe! So did my son... My husband is a bit different though. I toasted the buns before putting them in the bottom of the pan. I put the buns in whole, next time I will cut them up. My husband preferred to have the buns separately, not in the casserole. This was yummy!

Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake
My whole family adored this recipe! We used real honey from the honey farm. I also breaded the chicken before cooking. It added a nice texture, and help to keep the moisture sealed in. When cutting into my chicken at dinner, my chicken sprayed it was so moist and yummy! I def recommend chicken lovers to try this one!

Real Italian Calzones
I loved these.... I used refrigerated pizza dough. I also made my favorite toppings: pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, and ham, and I added ricotta and mozzerella. I made a mess overstuffing, but they went down great! What's with the Cheddar in this recipe? I omitted that of course! Thanks for sharing!
