Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2007
WOW! this was a huge hit at my house. I took the advice of others and watched the amount of liquid I used so it wouldn't come out too runny. I made a full batch and used only 1/2 c. of chicken broth instead of 3/4 and it turned out perfect. I used the same amount of cayenne as the recipe called for because I can handle spice, but for those who are sensitive I suggest cutting the spice in half or less. I doubled the garlic, added some chopped onions in while sauteeing the peppers, and a couple pinches of dried oregano and basil and it turned out AMAZING! I'll definitely be making this on a regular basis

Garlic Fried Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2007
this is AWESOME, but only beacause I added my own special touches to it. I dont think it would be nearly as good if you follow the recipe as it is. I added red pepper flakes, 2 tablespoons of butter, extra garlic, and a bit of soy sauce while the rice fries in the pan. So good! I'll definitely make this again.

Green Beans With Walnuts

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2010
These are SOOO good! My new fav way to prepare green beans. I only needed to bake the walnuts for 5 or 6 minutes or they would have burned. I did not have walnut oil and I cannot afford any at this time so I used olive oil and it still came out great!

Honey-Garlic Angel Hair

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2007
I LOVED this recipe. But I love anything sweet. I doubled the garlic and added just a little salt and it came out wonderful. Super fast and easy to make too. I will definitely be making this again

Angel Hair with Feta and Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2007
Simply AMAZING! I took the suggestions of others and fried the sun dried tomatoes with the garlic and oil before mixing them with the pasta. I also use the oil that the sun dried tomatoes were packed in, and if that isnt enough oil then I just add some plain olive oil to the tomato oil. I also add some sliced black olives and WOW! Flavor explosion in my mouth! This is definitely a favorite in my house now

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
Very good cookie! The only changes I made, where to swich the amounts of sugar used. So, instead I used 1/3 cup of white sugar and 1/2 cup packed brown sugar. I also added 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts. Baked 10 min. Any minute longer is too long! Next time I think I'll add dried cranberries!

Mama's Best Broiled Tomato Sandwich

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2007
SO good! I decided after trying it that it would be best by completely leaving out the olive oil. My husband and I are big balsamic vinegar lovers so I soak the tomatoes in only balsamic vinegar for about 10 minutes. I also add extra garlic and some mozarella. Amazing!

Hawaiian French Toast

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2007
This is my husband and I's favorite new breakfast! I couldnt find the hawaiian bread in the loaf form at the store, so I used white texas toast. I left out the maple syrup because I felt it would be too much sweetness, and I was right. I couldn't imagine it with the maple syrup, it was perfect without it. I also added some coconut extract along with the vanilla and rum. Put some butter on the toast while its hot out of the pan. AMAZING!

Maple Dill Carrots

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2010
These are too DIE for! I like to be bad and I double the amount of brown sugar and butter. Fresh dill is a MUST. I just cant imagine the same effect using the dried variety.
