Hamburger Buns

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2013
To be blunt these were dry, bitter, heavy, and inedible. No one in my family liked them.

Olive Oil Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2008
Excellent bread! Moist, chewy, and flavorful. For all of the dry bread reviews, here is the trick ... add more water slowly, a little at a time, until the bread forms a ball. The ball should be sticky but not too sticky. This will prevent your bread from becoming dry or having too much flour in the recipe. bread recipes are tricky and the liquid amount varies depeding on where you live and what time of year it is. We live in Arizona and I used 1 cup of water.

Cinnamon Sugar Biscotti

DH loved these and he isn't overly fond of biscotti. They are flavorful and is to make. I am looking forward to my morning cup of coffee tomorrow! DH has already asked me to make another batch tomorrow.

Mark's English Sausage Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
The recipe is ok. It was too bland for my family's tastes although I will make it again but it will definitely be jazzed up for spices and flavor. I would definitely recommend pre-cooking the sausage before putting in the oven and cooking the pastries on a silpat to avoid blackening the bottoms.

Maple Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2008
Absolutely no maple flavor at all, which was a great disappoint to my hubby who loves maple bread for his French toast. I won't be making this one again.
