About this Cook
Married for 8 years to the love of my life. We have an awesome 5 year old son. Both boys are my biggest fans in the kitchen...thankfully they are NOT picky!
My favorite things to cook
Love making desserts of any kind! I love to experiment creating new crockpot and casserole dishes. Sheppard's Pie and Cannoli's are my favorites to make...not necessarily at the same meal!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Everyone looks forward to receiving my annual Pumpkin Rolls for the holidays. I make them every year the weekend before Thanksgiving and we enjoy them through Christmas Day...maybe New Year's if we're lucky! After that it's all over until next year.
My cooking triumphs
Creating the Easiest Chicken Tortilla Soup ever! Just kept throwing stuff in the crock pot and it is now a family and extended family favorite...requested often by my in-laws!
My cooking tragedies
Oh...many! Of course, I have a husband who eats anything so not much goes to waste...even the tragedies.

Banana Peanut Butter Bread
These just came out of the oven and are wonderful. I made 24 muffins instead of bread and baked at 350 for 22 minutes. Nice, not too brown or dry! I did use 5 very ripe small bananas for this recipe. MMMM

Baked Corn II
My family loves this type of side dish. I did modify it, as we do not like canned corn. I used 2 10oz bags of frozen corn then doubled the sour cream to replace the cans of whole kernel/creamed corn. I also added 1/2 of small sweet onion diced. Loved it and so did the whole family...a keeper!

Tasty Meat Pie
I pretty much love anything with pie crust! I thought this recipe was an easy meal and had no trouble understanding or following the directions. It turned out just fine. All of us should know that we are able to put our picture with anyone's recipe if there is not one already. It may be unfortunate that a modified recipe's photo was used, but it seems a lot of people are quick to judge without thought.
