Bake Sale Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
Tasted great, husband said he could 'eat a whole mess of these'. Only concern was whisking didn't make it frothy. Not too tart, not too sweet, easy to make. Thanks for sharing!

Oven Fried Chicken IV

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
The coating had a good flavor, but the chicken was bland. Next time I'll use boneless/skinless chicken. Thanks!

Broccoli Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
I agree that this was a little dry. Next time I'll add a little milk to the soup mixture. I seasoned with onion powder, seasoned salt and pepper before cheese topping. Also used bread crumbs and butter instead of stuffing. Husband loved it, I thought it was okay, kids didn't like it. Thanks for sharing!

Cheesy Sliced Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
YUM! I've been looking for a cheesy potato recipe for a long time. If you like sour cream, this is the one for you. My only suggestion is to add more cheese if you like cheese. Thanks for sharing!

YUM! Nice alternative to super sweet cookies. They take some time to form, but are worth it. Thanks for sharing!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2008
I was short flour, so mine turned out flat. The flavor was great, and next time I'll make sure I have enought ingredients! Thanks for sharing. Second time I had enough flour--these taste like the best brownie you've ever had. YUMMERS. Total keeper recipe.

Spinach-Stuffed Pork Roast

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2008
I thought this was pretty good, but it needed to be spiced up a bit. Garlic perhaps? Thanks for sharing.

The Meatball that Fell Off the Table

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
I didn't have the corriander and decided against the nutmeg (not a fan of the spice), and sauted fresh sliced mushrooms with the balls. The balls held together terrific, and the kids loved it. Thanks for sharing!

Fried Chicken Coating

This was okay, nothing outstanding and certainly not like KFC. I'll keep it as a quick go to recipe. Thanks for sharing.

Stuffed Pork Chops III

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
We really enjoyed this recipe. I ran out of tooth picks, so I just was careful as I turned them. I simmered the left over stuffing with the chops and used it as a gravy over potatoes and the chops. Only alteration was I didn't have parsley and used rosemarry instead. Thanks for sharing!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
This was terrific. Even my very picky 3 year old--who refuses to eat fish--asked for seconds. Feel free to cut back on the butter. I make a recipe very similar (without butter) on chicken. Thanks for sharing!

Herb, Garlic and Bacon Pork Loin

Terrific! Very moist and flavorful, the bacon was delicious as well. I didn't have fresh herbs, but it still tasted great. Even my very picky 3 year old raved about it! Thanks for sharing.

Overnight Caramel Pecan Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2008
Terrific! I halved the dough and kept the goo and pecans at full amount. I used a bread machine (just warmed up the h20 and milk), and they turned out great. They don't double in size in the morning, but it doesn't affect the roll at all. Thanks for sharing!

If you like lemon, you'll like this recipe. Husband liked it, not gamey tasting at all. Thanks for sharing.

Sweet and Sour Chicken III

I'd actually give this 3-1/2. It wasn't bad, but it reminded me of the La Choy stuff you get out of a can...which is okay tasting. Super easy to make. I'll try another recipe though. Thanks for sharing.

Authentic Chinese Egg Rolls (from a Chinese person)

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2008
These were very good. I omitted the pork, bamboo shoots and MSG, and used regular mushrooms instead of wood ear mushrooms, and they turned out great. I also made them ahead of time and fried them right before supper. Worked great. Thanks for sharing!
