Easy Peach Crisp I

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2010
This was very good. I also cut back on the sugar on the fruit as others had suggested, added an additional small can of peaches, and instead of white sugar on top I sprinkled about 1/4 c. brown sugar to give it a bit of a 'crisp' rather than 'cobbler' appearance. Terrific!

Sausage Gravy III

After making this, seeing how easy it was and how delicious it is, I'll never buy the packet of mix again! Thanks for sharing!

Garlic Ranch Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2010
This was terrific! Chicken was tender and very flavorful. Super easy as well. Husband said the ony suggestion would be to perhaps put some of the sauce aside to drizzle on top before serving. I'm putting this in my 'good enough to serve to guests' recipe box! Thanks for sharing.

Tuna Rice Puff

A lot of work for what it turned out to be. Okay in taste, a bit blah. Probably wont make again. Thanks.

Turkey Pot Pie II

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2010
Great reviews from all the family. I made my own crust and made a double batch in a 9x13. I also cooked the veggies to speed up the time and baked at 425 for about 40 minutes and it was perfect. Thanks for sharing!

Blueberry Cream Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
Terrific muffin. I doubled the blueberries and it worked out great. Also, I halved the recipe and got 21 big muffins! Great consistency, looked beautiful, and were a huge hit. Thanks!

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
Very good pie. I was hoping it would be more coconut tasting, though. Will definitely make again. Thanks for sharing!

Salmon with Lemon and Dill

Great, EASY salmon dish. I foil packed mine first, then opened it up for an additional 8+ minutes. Terrific. Thanks for sharing!

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
I made a second salmon recipe just in case this didn't go over well. Even my 3 year old loved it! Don't let the balsamic scare you--the honey balances this nicely. Also, I poured the glaze all over the salmon instead of just brushing some on--and it didn't overwhelm the dish. Thanks for sharing!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2009
The whole family loved this. Only suggestion is to ease up on the salt. This is replacing the traditional green been casserole in our family!

Pudding Poke Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2009
This was okay. Maybe making with regular rather than instant pudding would be better.

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2009
These look good, an easy recipe to make, and have good consistency, but not as peanut buttery as I was hoping. I'll blame store brand peanut butter. Do refrigerate for a while before scooping out to form better balls.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2009
Terrific recipe. Great flavor, texture and makes both a beautiful muffin and bread. Added some chopped pecans and a little vanilla and pumpkin pie spice (wanted to get rid of it), and I'm locking my doors so my neighbors don't smell it and bang down my doors to get some! Thanks for sharing.

Chicken Fried Chicken

This crisped up great, but we were not crazy about the taste--too much saltine taste. Think we'll continue on the search for The Recipe. Thanks.

Rhubarb Strawberry Jam

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2009
I took the advice of others and cut the sugar. Super yummy, super easy. I think I added about 4 cups of sugar to my double batch instead of 6, and it was great. Thanks for sharing!

Chicken Potpie

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2009
This was really good, the best I've found so far. I did cut the butter back to 1/2 cup, and it was still good. Also, I only had 1 pie crust, so I poured the whole mixture in to a 9x13 and topped it with the pie crust. Thanks for sharing!

Lemon Meringue Pie III

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
This got rave reviews from my family. If you prefer a more tart pie, this isn't the one for you, but if you like a smooth lemon taste you'll love it. I'd never made a lemon meringue pie, and I have to admit this turned out beautifully. Thanks for sharing!
