Squash and Coconut Milk Stew

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
This turned out fantastic! Perfect to warm you up on a cold day. I tend to skip tofu, so instead I cooked up 3 pieces of chicken. I sauted it up with the ginger & onion then let it finish cooking with the squash.

Seriously if people don't like avacados then don't bother, but I LOVED it! It was such a nice change from normal. Thanks for the great idea!

Honey-Mustard Grilled Trout

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2007
My family loved this! The onions were great chopped thick and grilled. Even my cousin who is the most picky person I have ever known, loved it. Just to warn you it is very sweet!

African Curry

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2007
All the presentation and colors turned out lovely. The only issue is it is a very basic recipe and does not have much flavor. No matter how much extra seasoning my husband & I added, it did little to enhance the flavor. It tasted fine though. We added some hot chili sauce to spice it up and ate the rest.

Chicken Dijon

I made this for my husband and his friend and they ate all of it before I had a chance to taste more than one bite! It is definately one I would try again. I added a little more mustard.

Zucchini Alfredo

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2007
It all looked and smelled great! All up until you bite into it. It was extremely bland. I was disappointed since it smelled SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! But I added tons of lemon pepper seasoning. After letting it sit overnight in the fridge it tasted much better. I also added more sauce since it all soaked in.

Amish White Bread

I did only use 1/4 cup sugar and was glad of it! The bread turned out beautiful and I agree with the user who said it tastes like a Hawaiian Sweet Bread.

Cornmeal Hotcakes

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2007
These were definately tasty! I poured a light corn syrup on one and a butter pecan syrup on the other. My husband & I loved it! They turned a beautiful golden brown. The only thing I'm going to try next time is to add a little more moisture. We will definately be using this again!

Health Nut Blueberry Muffins

I found the Oat to make it a bit heavy. And it did not turn out sweet enough. I guess more sugar and no oat next time.

Apple Sausage Appetizers

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
This was a big hit at Thanksgiving. It was really strange to make because I didn't know what to do with it afterwards. I pulled out all the sausage and put it on toothpicks with Applesause still on them. I would probably use only one & one half containers of Apple sauce because I had lots left over. The guys loved it!!!
