About this Cook
I love getting in from work on a friday evening, locking the door, putting the heating on making the house nice for the weekend and baking some bread so that the smell fills the whole house. I also love red wine, classical music, fantasy fiction novels, shopping at the local farm shop and cookery/gardening books and programmes. I quite like yoga too.
My favorite things to cook
Bread, Shepherds Pie, Dunmer Winter Stew, Pork Chops in lots of ways, Creamy Rice Pudding, Chilli-Con-Carne
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mums Shepherds Pie and Dads BBQ Red and Brown Pork Chops are my favourite recipes and for traditions I love calling my Mum to get her pancake recipe EVERY year, I should probably write it down.
My cooking triumphs
I'm most proud of learning to bake my own bread by hand from scratch at the moment!
My cooking tragedies
I microwaved a motor garage pizza inside its plastic wrapper and inside its box too. I dropped a jelly in the sink trying to get it out of the mould (but rescued it), scones you could play frizzbie with, anaemic sausage casserole and various others that make me nauseous just thinking about them.

Pan Fried Whole Trout
A cracking recipe, I love the crispy skin. I used normal flour instead of cornmeal and it worked really well. Thanks

Roasted Lemon Herb Chicken
Good but not as good as 'Lemon Chicken III' it was a little to tangy and spicy for me and I think I chared the skin a little too much, but I liked it none the less.

Lemon Chicken III
Brilliant! One of the best Lemon Chickens I've ever had, I only marinated for 2 hours turning after one but it seemed just right. I also added the liquid before sprinkling with the sugar and I think this helped keep the skin sweet. It's now one of my favorites. Thanks.
