Kool-Aid® Pie

Pepper Jelly

Turned out sooo good! I followed others suggestions and increased my peppers to 2 cups, using 1/2 a large jalapeno with some seeds, 1 1/2 large green bell peppers, a tiny bit of a red pepper I had leftover, and a dash of red pepper flakes. I also used 1/2 white vinegar, 1/2 apple cider vinegar. I then doubled the amount of pectin for a firmer set, which I prefer. This is even better than the kind I bought from a specialty store at pike place market! Soo flavorful and easy!

Easy Lemon Cookies

Super easy and very tasty. I put a packet of lemon/lime kool-aid in place of the extract. I ended up with a very pretty light green cookie, perfect for the Christmas packages, that tasted very tangy. Can't wait to try other cake mixes and flavor combinations.

Clone of a Cinnabon

SOOOO GOOD!!! I did add more filling and a bit more frosting than called for. This is the first yeast dough that has actually worked well for me in a cinnamon roll recipe. Highly recommended!

Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

So So good! I have been searching for a pancake recipe that really hits the spot and this is it! 5 stars is not enough! This amount would feed an army so be sure to adjust the serving size to meet your needs but by all means do try it.

Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti

So tasty! I used macadamia nuts since I had them in the fridge. I also used about 1/4 cup more flour and a pich more baking powder. Think I cut them big as they took longer the second bake but they were worth it. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

On the first day I baked these they were maybe 2 1/2 stars but after sitting overnight I think they tasted much better. I used powdered sugar, orange juice and pumpkin pie spice for the glaze and it really added a lot to the cookie. These are very "cakey" for a cookie. Good, but I will keep searching for my perfect pumpkin cookies.

Creamy Rice Pudding

This was excellent!! I had leftover sticky rice from take-out tonight and was really craving good rice pudding. I used skim milk and splenda, a little less butter and added a bit of cinammon, cloves, and cardamom. Sooo Good!
