I have to say, I was impressed. My son is a diabetic and has sworn off sweets. He was a sweet lover. The carbs and sugar content in here is doable. I made them for the first time and used the dates but used applesauce in place of the oil and just sprinkled cinnamon and nutmeg in for added flavor. I tried one cookie and it was sweet, moist, chewy, very flavorful. The banana wasn't overpowering. This mixed up and baked up in no time. This should certainly satisfy any sweet lover's craving as well as a healthier version of a cookie. Would highly recommend it. I also used parchment paper which releases the cookie completely with no problems. I would definitely recommend using it. Cleanup is a no brainer, just rinse and put the pans away.
