Broccoli Mango Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2012
This is a great recipe for summer. I used hot mustard instead of horseradish. Really refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness

Deliciously Organic Carrot Spread

Delicious! Don't let the kitchen sink approach scare you off, this is a great recipe. I follow it exactly and even those who seemed unsure given the ingredients loved it once they tried it. I like to serve it in a bread bowl

Oven Fries

The sugar is a great idea! Another tip is to put the baking sheet with oil on it in the oven to get hot before you put the potatoes on it.

Ham with Redeye Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
I cheated and added a wee bit of flour because I wanted the gravy to be a bit thick. I served it with kale sauteed with garlic and popovers and it was fantastic! This dish must be an aphrodisiac, my boyfriend jumped me at the table the moment we were done eating!

Candied Garlic Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
Very very good. I doubled the sauce for optimal stickyness. I also doubled the amount of garlic. The downside? My baking pan is totally destroyed.

Oliebollen (Dutch Doughnuts)

Just like mom used to make! Well, not quite, but I think it'a more a question of technique. I had to add more milk to make the dough smooth, but they tasted great! Lekker!

Cheesy Pizza Fondue

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2007
This was quite tasty. The only problem was the cheese didn't integrate itself into the sauce, so it wasn't smooth, it was chunky, but if that doesn't bother you, then I would recommend you give this a try. I think a dense bread works best to dip. I used scissor rolls, but I think warm pitas would be awesome too.

Baked Pork Spring Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2006
Amazing! crispy but not greasy. I used veggie "beef" instead of pork, and a bit of soy sauce and szechuan sauce for the oyster sauce. I want to make these again tomorrow they were soooo good! One note, I found the cornstarch mix didn't glue the wrappers but a flour/water paste did the trick.

I used regular cherry pie filling for the lite. It was okay, but ont really impressive. texture was not fabulous. I likely wont make this again but It wasn't terrible. I think kids would like it.
