Chicken Breasts in Caper Cream Sauce

This turned out great. I made it with a few modifications: - I used (boneless, skinless) chicken thighs insteas of breasts. - I marinaded chicken in lemon juice (+water), and used pepper instead of lemon pepper, as others have suggested. - Instead of garlic powder, I used minced garlic, frying it some before adding cream. - Instead of using dried dill, I sprinkled fresh dill on top afterwards.

Thai Pineapple Chicken Curry

Delicious. We doubled the chicken, and used 1.5 times the amount of sauce -- there was plenty of sauce to go around. Instead of bell peppers, we put in some carrots and snow peas. The amount of food was just right for 5 hungry people.

It's Chili by George!!

I'm not generally a huge chili fan, but this tasted great. And it was easy enough that two of us made four times the recipe amount (to feed ~40 people) in a reasonable amount of time.

Stir-Fry Pork with Ginger

Pretty good, and easy to make. I added snow peas and bean sprouts. I also added a bit of corn starch to thicken the sauce. Next time, I might grate the ginger, or make more of an effort to slice it thinly.

Black Magic Cake

This cake was fine, but is not very interesting in itself. It became much improved after I soaked it with blackcurrant liqueur (Creme de Cassis) mixed with some water and sugar. I also made a frosting out of butter, sugar (powdered would've been better, but I ran out), a bit of milk, and some of the same liqueur. I would give the overall result 5 stars, but I'm only giving the original cake recipe 4.

Easy Beef Pie

We made 10 pies' worth of this recipe for a big group. It was very easy, but I found it somewhat bland. I would also at least double the meat:vegetable ratio if I was going to make it again.
