Barbie's Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2012
This tasted more like mayo than tuna and the amount of pickle relish was also very over-powering.

I love mincemeat, but these were barely edible, sorry.

Pretzel Turtles

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
Yummy!! These were so easy (the step that took the longest was unwrapping the chocolates)! I roasted the pecans first and used Hershey's kisses with caramel centres. I found that baking them for 4 minutes made them a bit too runny, so I cut it down to 2 minutes and they were perfect. Melted just enough to press a pecan into, but still held their shape. They firmed up nicely in the fridge afterwards. I took them to a Christmas party and they disappeared within minutes!

Simple Mexican Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
This was ok, but no one in my family liked it enough to make it again. But definitely fast and easy to prepare.

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2009
These are GREAT and very pretty with smarties (M&M's) too! My family loved them. I made a double batch in a 9x13 pan, replacing the chocolate chips with smarties (mixing half of them into the batter and sprinkling the other half on top, pressing in lightly). I also used margarine instead of butter, omitted the nuts and used half the vanilla. Tip: If using a dark non-stick pan, decrease the oven temp to 325. Yummy!!

Ranch Dressing II

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
This was really good!! And so fast and easy! I used light mayo and fat free sour cream and we still loved it. The flavor was definitely better after sitting overnight. I'm going to mix up a batch of the dried spices and store in a bag so I can make it in a hurry. Thank you Dawnia!

Sorry, but the salty mayo flavor was overpowering. We couldn't eat it.

Happy Shrimp

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2009
Delicious! I used olive oil instead of butter, and chicken stock since I didn't have any white wine. I doubled everything except the olive oil and shrimp so there would be more sauce. It is fantastic on pasta. Thank you for this great recipe!

I made this in a springform pan for Easter, and let it freeze overnight. It looked and tasted great. Everyone loved it! I can't wait to try it with raspberry concentrate. Thanks for such an easy and delicious dessert!

Although this smelled wonderful while it was baking, we found it very bland and dry, sorry.

Go Anywhere Rhubarb Squares

Reviewed: May 9, 2007
We loved these! They were delicious when they were still slightly warm. Definitely better the first day, but there wasn't much left to refrigerate. I was a bit worried when I saw how powdery the crust ingredients were when patting them into the pan, but it baked up nicely. I will be making this every year during rhubarb season!
