Spicy Party Pretzels

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2013
I made this pretty close to the recipe, just cut down on the oil to 3/4 cup. I don't know where the 350 degree oven came from, but maybe the recipe was revised as most of the reviews I saw were very old. The cooking time at 200 needs to be watched, I just took the first batch out after 45 minutes and it's perfect. I took a large bowl mixed everything in and used my hands to stir the mix every 15 minutes for 45 minutes, the oil sits at the bottom and needs to come back to the top. Put in the oven and set it for 15 minutes and that way you always know to give the pretzels a mixing plus you get to see the progress. This is a darn good recipe with some very minor adjustments to taste. This was a trail batch and I'll make another for Christmas and New Years day...FOOTBALL...use more cayenne for more bite football fans!!...it's Mo' bettah'

Herb Roasted Pork

Fantastic recipe, but like some others have said triple the sauce and next time I'll double the rub. It didn't take 3 hours so use a meat themometer

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2012
Fantastic!!...I did two minor changes. I use a 50/50 blend of ground beef and Italian sausage. I also make the meatballs around the size of golf balls or smaller, if you like big balls *g* then follow the recipe. Use ONLY fresh grated Parmesan cheese...

Red and Green Christmas Jalapeno Jelly

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2010
It needed the extra jalapeno, seeds and veins to give it a little more heat and body. The original recipe was good, but for those of us that like some bite...try this.

Made it for the first time yesterday and took it to a party...everyone loved it. Served with tortilla chips and celery. I used the ranch dressing, but will try the Bleu cheese next time, it's an awesome appetizer. A must for any party.....ask me if you don't believe me

Salmon Fillets with Creamy Dill

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2010
In case it hasn't been mentioned, the original amount of the Dill is scaled wrong for the amount of fish. It is enough for well over 2lbs of fish. I scaled it down to 2 servings, from 4, and used 2 lbs. of Salmon and still had a lot leftover. It's a fantastic sauce and I don't change a thing, but something went haywire with the sauce. I should have noticed it when I saw it calling for that amount of mayo for so little Salmon. Enjoy...excellent recipe
