Molasses Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
These were very tasty!!!! My 2 year old kept stealing them off the cookie tray and hid in the corner so the dog wouldnt steal it from her. They freeze very well and when defrosted they are nice and chewy.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
This recipe was very tasty I made it just like the recipe called for except I used turkey bacon(I dont eat ham) It went over really well. I think this is a recipe you could play with as well. If I hadnt been in a rush to make it I would have tried it with onions, red and green peppers added as well. I think this one is a keeper

Orange Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2010
This is a very forgiving recipe. It allows for a slight(and I mean slight) citrus taste but what it really does is help to keep the bird nice a moist while cooking. I made it once and all I had was pink lemonade concentrate and my family loved it(my husband is a chef mind you) So go ahead and brine!!!!! It makes meat that can tend to be dry much, much juicier. Enjoy and play with the flavors...any kind of juice is nice

Grandma's Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
This soup was very tasty!!!!! I used mostly fressh corn that we had frozen from our summer crop. I think this made the soup less creamy than I had hoped for but the taste was VERY good. I doubled the recipe so I found I needed to cook the potatoes longer than stated in the recipe. All in all a definate keeper!!!

Chicken Suiza Cornbread Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
I really liked this recipe. It had alot of potential for added ingredients too!!! I used only fresh corn and added just alittle milk to it. I also used fresh mushrooms If you like alittle spice I would reccomend using more of the chiles. I used the 2 tblsp and even my 2 year old could handle that. This recipe would also be great with roasted peppers added or sundried tomatoes. Thanks...fun recipe and easy to make

Mrs. Fields Cookie Recipe I

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2007
I make cookies very similar to this recipe. They are always a huge hit. Try them with macadamia nuts as well. One thing I do differently from this recipe is I only grind half the oatmeal and leave the rest whole. It makes for a nice hearty cookie. My husband, who is a chef, loves these.
