A WARNING ...FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS AND " STIR JUST UNTIL MOISTENED " . I USED A MIXER AND THEY CAME OUT HEAVY AND BLAND .

Crustless Spinach Quiche

I HAVE BEEN MAKING THIS ( VERY SIMILIAR ) FOR YEARS . I USE A 10 OZ. PACKAGE FROZEN SPIANCH (DEFROSTED ), 4 EGGS , 2 1/2 CUPS MIXTURE OF ANY TYPE OF CHEESES ( I LIKE SWISS WITH PARMESAN OR MOZZAELLA WITH RICOTTA ) , ANYTHING WORKS . I THROW IN CHOPPED SCALLIONS , A TOUCH OF NUTMEG AND GARLIC SALT . I ALSO TOP WITH BOTTLED MUSHROOM SLICES , GREEN OLIVES , TOMATO SLICES OR WHATEVER I HAVE ON HAND . BAKE AT 375 ,IN A 9 " PIE PAN , FOR 30 MINUTES , OR UNTIL THE EDGE STARS TO BROWN AND THE CENTER NO LONGER BUBBLES ( WITH MOISTURE ) . WHEN ENTERTAINING , I DOUBLE THE RECIPE AND BAKE IN A 9" X 13" GLASS BAKING DISH , CUT INTO SMALL SQUARES AND SERVED AT ROOM TEMPERATURE. IT IS ALWAYS IS A HIT .

Baked Bar-be-Que Chicken

FOR ALL OF YOU COMPLAINING ON THE CLEAN UP . USE RELEASE ( ALUMNIUM FOIL ) . JUST WRAP COOKING DISH , INSIDE , WITH RELEASE , THROW OUT WHEN FINISHED , OR USE TO WRAP LEFTOVER CHICKEN IN TO REFRIGERATE . NO CLEAN UP AT ALL .I USE RELEASE FOR EVERYTHING . GREAT WHEN BAKING COOKIES . ONE SHEET WILL LAST THROUGH A FULL RECIPE ( NO NEED TO CHANGE EACH TIME . ) RELEASE , YOU DO NOT DO ANYTHING TO ( GREASE UP ) . HOPE THIS HELPS.. IT SHOULD !!

Pork Chops with Garden Rice

I , DUE TO MY HUSBAND DISLIKING THE COOKED TOMATOES ,MAKE ONE VERY SIMILIAR. BROWN THE SEASONED CHOPS AND PLACE IN BAKING DISH . DICE UP PEPPERS , ONIONS AND CARROTS (ADD MUSHROOMS , IF YOU LIKE , CANNED OR FRESH ).SAUTE' TIL SOFTENED , THEN ADD RICE (I CUP ) , MIX WITH VEGIES , SPOON OVER CHOPS . I USE I CAN BEEF CONSOMME' ( USE WHAT EVER YOU LIKE ) AND 1 CUP HOT WATER ... POUR TOGETHER OVER THE CHOP MIXTURE . COVER AND BAKE AT 350 FOR 1 HOUR . SIMPLE AND EVERYONE , OF ALL AGES ,LOVES IT .

STOP WORRYING ABOUT "PARCHMENT PAPER " . USE rEYNOLDS RELEASE . I USE IT IN ALL MY BAKING . ONE SHEET WILL WORK FOR AN ENTIRE RECIPE AND THEN THROW IT OUT !!

Dog Biscuits II

I BAKE EVERYDAY AND SOME OF THOSE DAYS ARE MAKING DOG TREATS . THESE WENT OVER AS ONE OF THEIR FAVOTITES ( GERMAN SHEPARD , BLACK LAB , TN WHATCHAMACALLIT DOG AND A NEW DACHSHUND PUPPY). THE ONLY THING THAT I CHANGED WAS TO USE BABY FOOD ( BEEF , CHICKEN ), FROM JARS ,IN PLACE OF THE MEAT . IT WORKS OUT GREAT. YOU REALLY ONLY NEED ONE ( 2.5 OZ. )JAR , BUT I USED TWO. DO AS MANY AS YOU WANT , JUST ADJUST THE AMOUNT OF FLOUR . I ALSO PUT SOME CHOPPED PARSLEY IN , A COUPLE OF TABLESPOONS IS PLENTY , TO HELP THEIR " DOGGEY " BREATH .

I WAS LOOKING FOR A CHOCOLATE COOKIE RECIPE THAT I COULD ADD PEANUT BUTTER CHIPS TO TO MAKE REESES PIECES COOKIES. THIS IS THE FIRST ONE I PULLED UP . THE TEXTURE WAS NICE AND MOIST AND HAS A GOOD FLAVOR . WHAT I REALLY WAS LOOKING FOR WAS A MUCH RICHER CONSISTENCY . ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA ? I WAS THINKING OF TRYING EITHER A HERSHEYS CHOCOLATE SYRUP OR , MAYBE , EVEN AN ICE CREAM FUDGE TOPPING .

Anise Seed Borrachio Cookies

FOR ONE WHO DOES NOT LIKE TO SPEND THE TIME ROLLING OUT THE DOUGH AND CUTTING SHAPES ,I DECIDED TO DECREASE THE FLOUR TO 2 1/4 CUPS AND DROP BY TBSPS.I THEN FLATTENED THEM WITH THE THE BOTTOM OF A FLAT GLASS DIPPED IN SUGAR .THEY CAME OUT GREAT. TASTED FANTASTIC !!!

Java Chocolaty Cookies

GOOD RECIPE , SIMILIAR TO TOLLHOUSE EXCEPT FOR THE USE OF SHORTENING. I USED HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK EXPRESSO (4.5 OZ.) BAR THAT I BROKE UP INTO CHUNKS . ALSO ADDED CHOPPED PECANS . THE EXPRESSO CHOCOLATE REALLY GAVE IT A GREAT TASTE WITH THE KAHLUA . NEXT TIME I WILL ADD AT LEAST ANOTHER HALF A BAR IF NOT A WHOLE ONE AND GO BACK TO BUTTER .

GOOD FLAVOR , YET NOT THAT RICH . NOT TOO HARD OR SOFT . THEY WORKED WELL FOR EASTER COOKIES . RECEIVED "MELT IN YOUR MOUTH MINTS" , THEY LOOK JUST LIKE THE KISSES EXCEPT THAT THEY ARE MINTS IN PASTEL COLORS . USED THEM IN PLACE OF THE KISSES ... EVERYONE LOVED THE MINT WITH THE CHOCOLATE .

THANK YOU ////I BAKE EVERYDAY FOR MY HUSBAND ... HE ALWAYS ASKS FOR "OATMEAL COOKIES ..BUT NOT SO HARD (AS HE PUTS IT ) " I OWN OVER 200 COOKBOOKS .. TRIED MANY OATMEAL COOKIE RECIPES .. MIXED, CHANGED , OMITTED , ETC ..ONCE IN A GREAT WHILE HE "OK'S" THEM .. THIS ONE PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS .OF COURSE IF HE GOT HIS TEETH FIXED ....JUST ALITTLE TN HUMOR . THANKS AGAIN .
