Roast Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2012
Really good! I think I will go a little lighter on the rosemary next time. I only used 5 smallish potatoes and kept the same amounts of everything else, so it was probably a little heavy to start with. I cooked for the 20 minutes and used my broiler for about 5 minutes to crisp them up. Even the kids liked them!

Apple Dumplings II

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2012
These were really good. I even messed the dough up a little and ended up kinda piecing it onto the apple slices, but it still turned out great. We were worried that the syrup would make them too sweet, but they were perfect. No leftovers!

Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2011
Awesome recipe. I used a jar of spiced peaches we had canned from last year. I used a little less butter and sugar and it turned out so good. I ended up having to bake it for about 35 minutes (I covered it with foil after the first 25 so it wouldn't brown too much on top) and it was still a little undercooked in the middle. But it didn't seem to be a big deal since it was gone within 15 minutes!

Cracked Sugar Cookies I

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
Great cookies. Very easy and uses stuff I had on hand. Made them with the 3 year old, and it wasn't as painful as I had been prepared for! I rolled some of them in sugar, but I think that they tasted better without.

Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2010
Really good. Took the advice of a few others here and doubled the sauce and used it over rice. My roast was about 2.5lbs, and it took about an hour and a half to cook from start to finish. The sauce is REALLY sweet, so next time I make this, I will probably cut it by half, but all 4 of my kids ate this, and the hubby raved. Thanks Wendee!

Cheese Herb Bread

This is awsome bread. Just like at an expensive italian resturant that we used to frequent. We made up a dipping oil, with italian seasonings and olive oil, even the kids loved it!

Cherry Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2003
My veggie hating husband raved about these. I made all of the changes suggested by the other reviews. I think that next time, a little less teriyaki and add the honey. All in all a good recipe that added variety to our regular menu

Nutty Crispy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2002
These are great cookies. My son has a peanut allergy, so we were looking for a cookie recipe similar to the peanut butter kiss cookies. I made them into balls, rolled them in sugar and when they came out of the oven put a hershey kiss into them. They are the BEST substiute we have found. They are tasty frosted too!

These rolls were so good. I was looking for a quick bread to serve with dinner. It took about 10 minutes of actual work and about an hour until they were on the table. Everyone loved them. No fuss great bread

Amy's Garlic Egg Chicken

I thought that this recipe was ok, but not worth all of the work. My kids didn't like it, too peppery for them. Hubby liked it though.

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2001
My husband and I thought this recipe was great. The kids (1 & 3) weren't crazy about it, but they are pretty picky. I cut the recipe in half and used salsa in place of the taco sauce. Pretty quick and easy to make and tastes great. Will definatly make this again.

The pitas are really good, they are just a little finicky when you cook them. Worth the effort though!
