Fruit Pizza
What to make for dinner...
About this Cook
I'm living with my puppy (and my boyfriend comes to live with me for a month every few weeks...) and I'm trying to figure out how to cook healthy, hearty, happy meals for the both of us. I used to call my mom daily for her advice, but I have far surpassed her abilities, so now she calls me!
My favorite things to cook
Baked apples! Fish
My favorite family cooking traditions
We eat steamed Lobsters for Thanksgiving instead of Turkey!
My cooking triumphs
I've done well on my of my recipes; nothing has gone too horribly wrong... YET!
My cooking tragedies
I try lots of different things. When I started cooking fish, I'd sit in front of the oven and watch it, just so I didn't overcook it! My most favorite cooking strategy is to cook while drinking some wine!

Fruit Pizza
YuMMMY! - check out my photo of this treat! For fruit I used: Peaches, Blueberries, Strawberries, Raspberries, and Pineapple! I made this to accompany ChaCha's White Chicken Chili. It was to die for! Make sure the cream cheese has ample time to soften before mixing it with the marshmallow spread though, it was a little chunky even after using a mixer on the highest speed... HOWEVER - it tasted purrrfect, regardless. I WILL be making this again.. its so easy and great for a small soiree!

Snow Peas Oriental
I think this would be great with a little more flavoring - maybe a dash more soy sauce? I also think it would be nice to add some baby corn to the mix of veggies. I'll let you know how it goes next time. I also put toasted sesame seeds on it for just a little extra touch!

Asian Style Meatloaf
I really love this recipe and have been making it for years! I don't eat pork or beef or lamb, so I make this out of pure ground turkey and it is SCRUMPTIOUS! I tend to pair it with egg noodles and some sort of green veggie (like broccolini, broccoli, green beans, or snow peas). Also, because I make a turkey meatloaf, I suggest serving it with a white wine or even a plum wine. I highly recommend a Chenin Blanc! Enjoy!
