Beef Tips and Noodles

Reviewed: May 5, 2007
My husband LOVED this. He wants me to make it a weekly dish. I on the other hand thought it lacked flavor and was just ok. I used the exact ingredients listed but cooked it at 350 for 30 minutes. I also sauted the steak and mushrooms together before baking.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2007
Lives up to the reputation. This is the best lasagna I have ever had (and I've had a LOT of lasagna). I took it to a luncheon today and everyone RAVED over it and kept asking me for the recipe or wanted to know where I bought it. It takes time but is WELL worth it in the end. I increased the spices a little bit since I usually like pasta sauces with more spice than what is directed in the recipe. I also used 1 lb of Hamburger and 3/4 lb of the sweet italian sausage I wasn't sure if I would like the sweet italian so I used less. It was fantastic. Make sure you use it in addition to the fennell seeds. I'll never make lasagna any other way again.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
My family RAVED about this cheesecake at Christmas. I was unsure about it since it didn't look like it was done baking in the oven. I trusted the recipe so I turned off the oven and let it sit for 6 hours. It did not crack in the slightest. When I pulled the cheesecake from the fridge I warned everyone that it may not be good since I wasn't sure if it was cooked. The entire thing was gone in a matter of minutes. I only got a small bite from my husbands piece. Everyone raved about it and is requesting that I make them more. That's all anyone could talk about for the rest of the day. Today I am baking 4 more cheesecakes for them. This is the only recipe I will ever use again.

Seared Sirloin Steak with Garlic Butter

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2006
My sauce didn't turn out but I was interupted by the door bell. The meat was excellent. I added a little bit of fresh garlic to it while seasoning. My husband raved about it.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2006
I also used less butter than called for. I couldn't imagine using that much for mashed potatoes. They were ok. Nothing special though. A little too garlicy for my taste. Next time I think I'll add some cheddar cheese and more bacon bits.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2006
The BEST chocolate chip cookies I have ever made. I do not eat chocolate chip cookies but I baked them for my husband. He loved them. I took my boss a dozen and she asked if I would make 30 dozen for clients at Christmas. I gladly accepted. The recipe is so easy to make and they taste excellent. I have thrown out every recipe that I have for chocolate chip cookies and am going to keep this as my one and only.

Danish Kringle

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
Not what I expected at all. I had high hopes for this recipe. I am an experienced baker and have come across much better recipes. This one was difficult to work with. The filling oozed out and burnt on the pan while baking. The dough was not easy to manipulate. Definitely not enough dough for three braids as I had a hard enough time making two out of the dough. Will not make again.

Husband's Delight

Reviewed: May 28, 2006
Used spaghetti instead of egg noodles, 2 lbs of ground beef, spaghetti sauce instead of diced tomatoes, added garlic and creole seasoning to the meat, and omitted the onion. This is fantastic! It is a rich and creamy spaghetti dish. This dish will be made again and again.

Chicken Garlic Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2006
I used the suggestions given by the other posters but this just was not good. It was very bland. I may make it again, but use Mozarella cheese and use a spice with the chicken.
