Maple Walnut Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
This was so creamy and rich a delight. I only wish I had added just a little more butter to the topping. I am still eating it five days later...it keeps very well.

Pasta Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
What a great idea. I have made this several times following recipe exactly. I do let it sit overnight in fridge to set. Family loves it. Leftovers keep and reheat well also.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2006
I often use mayonnaise on baked fish, but the flavors on this were outstanding. Easy and delicious.

Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
OMG this was so good. I slow cook pork frequently, but I believe this was the best tasting, most tender of them all. I cut down on the sugar a tad and seasoned the roast prior to browning. Everything else was as directed. I will definately make this again and again. Joyce what a winner!

This recipe was so good! I followed others advice, adding mushroom, capers and increasing the sauce. I think the really good part was I used talipia instead of chicken. It was dish licking great.

Chinese-Style Cheeseburgers

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2007
Awesome....I loves these. In fact I made them 3 nights in a row. They held up better in the fry pan, than on the grill. I used the crumbled Kraft cheese and like other reviewers I also added an egg to bind, no chopped onion, but onion powder.

Fisherman's Quick Fish

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2007
This was really good. I couldn't get enough. I followied others advice and used 1/2 italian & 1/2 ranch. Added a lot more seasoning...salt, pepper, dill and red peppers. I also used about 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar and my fish of choice was talipia. I could eat this everyday.

Easier Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2008
I loved this recipe. I have made Marsalla many times but not like this. I followed another reader's advice and browned the chicken, removed it while I sauteed fresh garlic and double the mushrooms. Adding the cream of mushroom soup took this recipe to *****. Then followed step 3 of the original recipe. I will make this again and again.

Seared Tuna with Wasabi-Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
The sauce is the winner here. I make seared tuna frequently. This recipe was the best. I didn't have shallots, so I used garlic and scallions. I also like seared tuna almost raw. I could not get enough of the sauce, I also put it on the side of wild rice. This sauce will go well with shrimp and other cooked fish. A definite keeper.

Orange Curried Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2008
This was so good, I couldn't beleive it was so easy. I followed others and substituted soy sauce for water and added minced garlic. I used bonless chicken breast and cut the recipe in half for two servings. It took less than 30 minutes to cook. I served with white rice and ate both portions myself.

Slow Cooker Chili II

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2010
First time making chili and it turned out really well. My daughter, who only eats "Wendy's" chili said this was really good. Followed directions, with the exception using one can of puree and two cans of diced tomatoes w/ pepperse onion and celery added. Added a small can of green chilies, because I had it. Just enough spice with out any other additions or adjustment. I will definately make again.

Portuguese Pork with Red Peppers

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
This ws OK..nothing outstanding. I used yellow and red pepper, that added color and taste. I also used beef stock, not chicken. I did like the addition of fresh lemon, definately made it more tasty. I would not call this dish elegant, but I might make it again.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
This was really quite good. I would have given five stars, but the skin didn't crisp up. Followed directions as written. Turkey was done before time also, and I thought I over cooked, but it was the most moist and flavorful turkey I have ever made. Will definitely make again, and will try with chicken too.

Turkey Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
Pretty good way to use the leftovers. As like others, I used my green bean casserole leftovers in lieu of beans and onions, but I also added a can of soup and a small can of musrooms, everything else as per this recipe. It was enjoyed by all. Will definately make again with whatever leftovers are around.

Sassy Steak Marinade and Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2008
This was quite unusual. Followed directions, except I used canned mushrooms instead of fresh. The steak was tender and tasty, but as a mushroom lover, not so sold on the mushroom sauce. I may have used too much horseradish in the cocktail sauce. Would I make again....maybe.

Chicken Casserole Mississippi

This was good. I added more spices, celery salt, onion and garlic powder powder. I also mixed the soup & sour cream together, by mistake, but the result couldn't have been better. Will most likely make again.....maybe the right way.

Easy Tilapia

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2007
Yummy. A little salty, but I crave salt. I made double the recipe and I wanted to eat all the leftovers. I made no changes..it had a really good tast. The only downside, was with all the transferring of the fish, it sort of broke up.
