Sue's Taco Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2007
Every one loves this. Whit a few changes I add avocado and sliced olives. Also brown the meat with chopped onions, and use equal amounts of taco sauce and ranch dressing (sour cream works if out of ranch dressing) for the kick that makes every one ask what's the secret to your dressing.

Easy Corn Pudding

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2007
Have made this twice. The first time I used eggs as suggested by other reviewers and it was a winner, the second time I was out of eggs and it was still good but had to increase the cooking time by 10 minutes to get it done in the middle. The natural sweet taste of the corn made this dish a winner.

Peanut Butter Noodles

Great!!! The only thing I change was to add a tablespoon of chili paste in stead of 2 teaspoons. May try adding coconut milk as suggested by other reviewer. Green beans and carrots make good sides to this dish.

Wild Rice Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2007
I love this recipe. I use chicken and use 2 cups of fruit either all grapes or 1/2 grapes and 1/2 apples, the other thing I have done that is great in this salad is to use blood orange vinegar in place of the plain vinegar. Yummmm.

Real N'awlins Muffuletta

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2007
This was I big hit at the family picnic. I used only olive oil, and substitute 1/2 a fresh onion for the cocktail onions. I also left out the cauliflower, celery and carrot. Will defiantly make aging.

Will I try aging? The potato taste over powered the broccoli and it was a little on the thicker than I like.

Allways a winner, have been making this for years. Also good when you cook some potatoes and carrots in with it to make a kind of stew.

Broccoli and Cauliflower Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2006
I changed it just a little and the results were great. Used shredded cheddar cheese in place of processed cheese and increased the rice to 1 cup, also used the whole head of cauliflower and the whole bunch of broccoli both of which were over 10 ounces. This would be great for a pot luck or family gathering.
