Yummy Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2006
This recipe was wonderful! The pepperoni really added a great extra flavor to the taste. I used about 36 oz. of sauce and it was really great! Family was very happy.

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2008
This recipe is amazing! My son and husband ate it all immediately! The only problem I found is that when I doubled it I added too much water. I drained the excess water when it was finished and it still turned out wonderful!

This is the BEST recipe I have ever made. All of my friend and family request it every time I cook. The only thing I do different is I add fresh sauteed mushrooms to the sauce. LOVE THIS RECIPE!!

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
This is the first time I have made butternut squash and the soup was amazing! I added one cup of organic apple juice and only used 1/2 the cream cheese. I also baked the squash (brushed with EVOO) for 30 min in the oven to help with cook time. It was so good that even my 2 year old ate it. I will only use 1/4 the cream cheese next time. GREAT RECIPE!!

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2008
The philly was not as true to the philly taste as I had hoped. The sandwiches were still a big hit in my house but I will try a different recipe next time. The garlic mayo was great and I will definitely make that again.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2008
This was a really good recipe! The honey mustard alone is great and I will be making this by itself for salads in the future. I continually basted the chicken on the grill so it would not burn too quickly.

Jewish Apple Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2008
This cake was overall very good. I think it was missing a little something so I added a honey drizzle to it since I made it for Rosh Hashana. I did mix the apples with the cinn/sugar mix beforehand so the apples had a really good flavor in the cake. I also sprinkled the top of the cake with a little more cinn/sugar for some added sweetness.

Slow Cooker Chicken with Mushroom Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
This recipe was a little bland but it was ok. I added an extra can of cream of chicken soup to the mixture to make sure the chicken was covered the entire time. I also added 1 tsp of Italian seasoning to add a little extra spice. The chicken was very tender but I will add more spices next time to give it more flavor.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
This is hands down the best green bean casserole I have ever made! I will serve this year after year at holiday events. The only thing I changed was I used fried onions and about half the cheese. I added the fried onions in place of the regular onions and then I spread a thin layer of them over the top before I added the cheese. It was amazing!

The World's Best Turkey

I have made this turkey 2 years in a row and I LOVE it!! My family requested this turkey in advance and they were not disappointed. The only thing I change is that I add the entire bottle of champagne for added moisture. It is delicious!
