Hershey's ® Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2007
this is one of my all time favorites. I serve with ice cream, and I use half water/half coffee for the liquid - i think it deepens the flavor... This is from a hershey cookbook from 1989 - I've been making it since then - it never fails to impress....

i make this too, but i use 6 eggs - try add thawed frozen hasbrowns over the sausage for a heartier dish!!! (or if you want to get sassy, add thawed potatoes o'brien)

Chicken Cheese Chowder

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2001
I am so glad you all are enjoying my recipe, but please do not complain if your soup doesn't turn out correctly b/c you used the wrong cheese... The proceesed cheese adds a creamy factor that cheddar doesn't have - please try the recipe (any recipe for that matter) first before you alter it... thanks!!

Marinated Ranch Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2001
i really loved this recipe - i am not a big fan of "ranch" but thought i would try it - i hate changing recipes, but i didn't have red wine vinegar (thought i did)& just used regular vinegar... very tasty & very easy... great contribution!!! jes

Taffy Apple Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2000
i completely agree with adding more caramel candies... this was really good - i did not try it with a topping, and i think it could use one - it was wonderful when put in the toaster over for a few seconds... it takes a long time & the cake is very heavy, but if you have nothing to do on a stormy weekend day - then this is the project for you!!!

Easy Italian Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2000
this was very, very good - i have made it a few times with other cuts of chicken... i think that definitely using a cut with the bone in is the best... i did try it with boneless breasts & used them in a sandwhich the next day.. yummy!! overall, I think this is a tasty recipe with subtle flavor... do not serve with an overpowering side dish!!!

Fiesta Dressing

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2000
This is really good with a taco salad... I use a hot salsa because I like spicier food!! I have also served it by itself as a dip with vegetables!

Spicy South of the Border Spinach Cheese Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2000
For extra quickness, just use 1 can of diced tomatoes & green chilis (for example: "Ro'Tel)... I love this dip!

Kevin's Sausage Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2000
I made this once the way the recipe said & it was extremely tasty - I like my dips a little bit creamier, so I added 2 tbsp of evap milk & 1 cup of monterray jack cheese - yes, I know I changed the recipe, but the one above is a wonderful base for which to build!!!

Easy Sausage Cheese Balls

I have made these for years - for a kick - try using "hot" sausage... Also, good dipped in honey mustard sauce (discovered after too many beers at a super bowl party!!)

Corn Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2000
I serve this dip with big fritos... This is one of the yummiest dips around & the flavors blend nicely. Be sure to let it sit overnight or for a while (chilled) before you serve to allow time for the flavors to meld together!

Cornmeal Cookies III

These cookies are wonderful! The recipe sounds a bit strange, but I made them for my office & they were an absolute hit!! I can imagine that they would be a wonderful treat with fresh strawberries after a light fish or chicken dinner!!

Ranch Crispy Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2000
This chicken is very good & quick & very light... I have made this many times, I do have a suggestion... to make it more moist - brush plain non-fat yogurt on the chicken before the breadcrumb mixture... it doesn't alter the taste, but provides a moisture to the chicken which is outstanding!!! (please note, that I do not think ANY recipe should be altered until it has been tried as written)

Brenda's Pepperoni Chicken Rollups

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2000
I never realized before that I do not care for chicken & spaghetti sauce... It is a bit heavy & the flavors do not blend very well... The recipe gets an "A" for effort, but overall a "C" for confusing - it couldn't decided whether it want to be an Italian dish or a Chicken dish... I do recommend this recipe for those who love chicken paired with spaghetti sauce...
