turned out great. I timed the rolling boil for 1 minute as some of the other reviews said. they are so yummy!!

Best slow cooker roast I ever had. The gravy is the best part of a roast to me and I've never been able to get it right until I tried this recipe. I read some of the reviews and since I was using a smaller roast I only used 1 can of soup and all I had was Golden Onion soup mix so I used that. I used about half a can of water and half a packet of brown gravy mix. It made plenty of gravy and was perfect over mashed potatoes. Will definitely make this roast more often. I usually look forward to the carrots in a pot roast but after reading some of the reviews I left them out. I didn't miss them because this dish was so good.

good recipe. followed directions as is. my family loved them. I did freeze the candy as some of the reviews suggest and that helped alot.
