Split Pea and Ham Soup I
The basic flavour was good. I added pieces of ham, 1/2 tsp of ground cumin, and garlic. I also added some carrot to give it more colour.

Sukhothai Pad Thai
This was really great with chicken and shrimp. Be careful to soak the noodles for as long as needed - you can also cook them slightly to make sure that they are not crunchy.

French Baguettes
Perfect recipe! worked very well with grade 10s and they were so proud of their results. I used all purpose flour (instead of bread flour) and brushed the top with beaten egg (whole egg, no water). In the second experiment we baked small cloves of garlic in the bread - WOW!
