Pistachio Cake III

I agree that there simply isn't enough pistachio flavor. Next time I will double the pistachio pudding., Also, I diced and toasted some pistachios and there them into the batter.. It helped!

Champagne Cake With Buttercream Icing

This recipe is not for anyone who likes fluffy, moist cakes. The consistency was heavy, and almost tasted like a biscuit. Not enough sugar,either. It wasn't what I expected at all. HOWEVER, the icing was wonderful, and I will be making that again. I also added a raspberry filling to the cake, which did help, but it wasn't enough to save this disaster.

One of the best recipes I've ever tried! So lucky I found it!I used chicken, and added a bit more of all the sauces..My husband even commented on it saying that it was exactly like something you would pay a lot for at a fancy restaurant! Thanks!

Pumpkin Roll with Toffee Cream Filling and Caramel Sauce

This recipe was okay for me..I think the cake tasted funny, like it was grainy or like it wasn't fluffy enough.(hard to describe!)It also took me a while, and mine cracked in the middle, and became quite soggy..Expensive to make,too, when you add in all the ingredients, like rum.. I will definitely give it another try, though, with some modifications I'm sure it will be wonderful!

Penuche Sugar Fudge

I guess I was expecting something different when I made this, but it was basicly a brown sugar prailine.. It would be improved with a pie crust to cut the sweetness. It was so rich that my husband and I could barely finish one square. Then it sat in my kitchen until I threw it out! Was kind of a waste of time to make, unless you like eating what seemed like pure sugar!
