Waffles I

Reviewed: May 4, 2010
Great recipe. I used Buttermilk instead of regular milk. The batter seemed a little thick to me, so I added a bit of water after everything was mixed together. My kids & I enjoyed this recipe. I'd use it again, but I don't feel glued to the recipe either.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2007
Very yummy! We added more cinnamon and brown sugar. Also did the whole block of cream cheese (8 oz, I think) in my frosting. Like much better than cinnabon ... cinnabon are too sweet for me.

Fudge Truffle Cheesecake

Good, but not the best I've tried. Very nice texture, but needs something ... also not chocolatey enough for me.

This was OK...I haven't had brussel sprouts since I was young, so maybe I'm not a fan of those like I used to be??

Tasty Lentil Tacos

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2007
YUMMY! I bought 12 taco shells for my family of 3 & there's not a single one left! My 4 yr old ate 3 of these tacos. I added some fat free refried beans to the bottom of the taco shell to help hold in the lentils. And I also reduced some of the spices, which I'd do again next time & maybe reduce even more. THANKS!

Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2006
This is actually pretty good. Grilled cheese isn't something we eat a lot, but I definitely prefer this recipes over traditional grilled cheese! I've also used bread from the bakery & made my own garlic butter to spread on the slices instead of using texas toast.

Italian Restaurant-Style Salad Dressing II

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2006
We added 3 T of sugar after reading the reviews. This was a little too much sugar for us. It was a good dressing, but I wouldn't compare it to Olive Garden ... too much mayo.

Homemade Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2006
We made a few changes because we're vegetarian. Instead of using meat, we added a little more than 1/2 pound of mushrooms & some shredded carrots to the sauce. Also, I may have misunderstood something, but the whole box of noodles is too much ... 1/2 box is probably plenty. And like others, my husband & I both thought it was a little too salty. I probably added 1 1/2-1 3/4 t of salt instead of 2t and it was still too salty. But if I reduced the salt some more, this would probably become a recipe we make often.

Focaccia Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2006
This bread was good. I'm not dying to make it again except that it was fairly easy, used ingrients I always have on hand & was pretty quick to make too. Don't have to wait hours for the dough to rise.
