Extremely easy to make. Didn't come out as spicy as I was hoping, so I'll make adjustments next time. Isn't exactly what I'd call a chili, either, but as others have written, I'd use it to make tacos or a part of other meals.

Cabbage Beef Soup

Use a can of beef broth instead. Comes out tasty, though I feel like I need to add something more to really put it over the top. Very good simple meal, though.

Slow-Cooked Steak Fajitas

Followed the recipe pretty closely. It tasted ok, but not enough zip for my taste. Needed a good salsa to go with it. Also the meat just fell apart. Ended up more like shredded beef than beef fajitas.

Maria's Pepper Steak

Didn't have honey, so I used Hoisin sauce. Tasted pretty good, but still needed something extra. I'm not sure if using honey would have made much of a difference.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Very good and easy to make. Might be a bit too spicy for some people, but it was just right for me. Just like many I used tortilla chips and that worked just great. Only change I might make next time is adding potatoes.

Really needs additions to the recipie to give it texture. Corn, beans, beef maybe. Almost seems like you have to come up with a whole new recipe.

Taqueria Style Tacos - Carne Asada

Was pretty good, though I didn't make the salsa. Can't help but be a little disappointed with the marinade. After reading the other reviews, I was expecting something that would send me into fits of feeding glee, but sadly it didn't. Not a bad sauce. A bit salty if anything, but something I would try again with a couple of alterations.
