Maple Dill Carrots

MY FAMILY LOVED THESE...I USED A BAG OF BABY CARROTS, AND ADDED CUT CARROTS. I ALSO STEAMED THEM IN THE MICROWAVE UNTIL TENDER,MELTED OTHER INGREDIENTS IN SAUCE PAN,TOSSED ALL TOGETHER.

WOW...USED GRANNY SMITH APPLES,STRAWBERRIES,RASBERRIES,KIWI,AND PLUMS.STRAWBERRY PRESERVES GAVE IT A NICE COLOR.MADE THE NIGHT BEFORE.BOTH FRUIT AND CHIPS WERE STILL FRESH.(COULD MAKE 2 NIGHTS BEFORE)

TURNED OUT GREAT...THESE MUFFINS HAD A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING.I USED A LITTLE LESS CINNAMON (1 1/2 TEASPOONS) AND USED 1/2 CUP APPLEBUTTER INSTEAD OF OIL. THE APPLEBUTTER HAS A NICE FLAVOR THAT COMPLIMENTS THESE MUFFINS.

EXCELLENT...FOLLOWED THE RECIPE AND CAKE TURNED OUT PERFECT. I DID HOWEVER USE A DIFFERENT FROSTING.USED THE WHIPPED CREAM CREAM CHEESE FROSTING AS SUGGESTED BY OTHER READERS. IT'S A KEEPER.

MY LIQUID DIDN'T ABSORB ALL THE WAY, I ADDED A SMALL AMOUNT OF FLOUR TO TAKE CARE OF THAT PROBLEM. NEXT TIME I'LL USE 1 ONION AND MORE GREEN BEANS.I FLAVOR WAS VERY UNIQUE.
