Fried Rice with Cilantro

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2007
This recipe is so good! I make it every time I have fresh basil and cilantro. And I've stopped measuring these out, it's fool proof. Tastes good no matter how much cilantro or basil you throw in. I love it with chicken and bacon best. Great summertime meal! Thanks!

Washabinaros Chili

This was pretty good., but way over complicated with too many ingredients that you don't end up tasting anyway. All you need for a good chile is beans, meat, onions and a couple spices. You can save your money on the rest.

Quinoa Tabbouleh

I thought this was a nice, fresh, healthy salad. I took another reviewers advice and subbed the parsley for cilantro, and used halved cherry tomatoes for the tomatoes. It seemed like it was missing something so I threw in a dash of cumin. That added the complexity I was looking for. I'll make this again often.

Spinach and Red Chard Quiche

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2006
I thought this recipe was delicious, but my husband said it tasted like a veggie filled pumpkin pie. The consistency was certainly closer to pumpkin pie than quiche. Next time I may try it with eggs instead of tofu and maybe omit the cinnamon and nutmeg for his sake, but for me it was yummy!

Pasta with Mushroom and Zucchini Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2006
My husband and I both thought this recipe was delicious. Because I like my pasta saucy, I pureed about half the veggies, making a thick sauce, and chopped the other half. A little extra salt, pepper and parm on top and yumm! It's rich and unique, I never would have thought of it myself. Thanks!
