Best Ever Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2007
Nice and moist banana bread. Be sure to use ripe bananas in any banana bread recipe because the flavor is much better that way. I added a teaspoon of vanilla and a sprinkle of cinnamon in the batter to make it even more flavorful.

Raisin Buttermilk Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2007
Awesome!! Best coffee cake I ever made! Every time I made coffee cake in the past, it was a disaster! This one is very moist and has great flavor. I substituted cranberries for the raisins and I think this makes it taste better(unless you love raisins). Go try this recipe!

Focaccia Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2007
My family loved it. I thought that it was too crunchy and not soft enough because that's what I expected, but it was good. I did think something was missing though. There wasn't a special flavor to it... maybe more basil? I added minced garlic while kneading instead of garlic powder. Oh, don't forget some marinara sauce for dipping!

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2007
Awesome recipe! I love that this is vegetarian. I added a can of mushrooms and only used 2 10oz. jars of tomato pasta sauce because that's all I had. Also, like others suggested, I didn't boil the lasagna noodles first. I used tomato basil feta because I couldn't find the kind the recipe called for but I don't think it really matters much. Try it, it's really delicious.

Banana Pancakes I

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2007
I just made these pancakes and they were just okay. They weren't five star pancakes but maybe it's just me. Also, I halfed the recipe. If you like banana in your pancakes, I recommend trying the Good Old Fashion Pancakes from this site and adding bananas. Those come out really fluffy, which I like. These pancakes were a little flatter than I like. I think cutting back on the milk will help with that.

Crunchy Caramel Snack Mix

Reviewed: May 27, 2007
Really good! I gave a bag of the snack mix to all my friends for Christmas and they loved it. I added Fritos which added a salty sweet to the mix. Try it!

Bombay Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: May 26, 2007
Personally, I hate chicken and fruit together, but my dad liked this recipe. I used raisins and dried cranberries for the dried fruit. I just really didn't like this at all but if you like fruity chicken, then you might want to try it.

Naan

Reviewed: May 26, 2007
I love naan! This recipe is great but time consuming. I substituted 4 cups of all-purpose flour for the bread flour since that's all I had in the house. The naan came out thicker than the ones I get at the Indian restaurant but it was still very good. You just have to roll the dough out in a thinner circle if you like it crispier but if you like it chewy then roll it out regularly. Definitely try this recipe!

Cake Doughnuts

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2007
Very good. I dropped teaspoon fulls of the dough instead of shaping it like a doughnut because it makes it a lot easier.

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2007
Very easy and tasty! I used minced garlic instead of the cloves of garlic. I also added a lot more garlic because I could not tast any garlic without adding more. I added dried basil for flavor which I recommend.

Very nice and moist! I like to bake them in muffin cups and use 3/4 cup of sweetened cocoa powder and reduce the sugar to 1/2 cup.

Lighter Libby's® Famous Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2006
Perfect light recipe! I reduced the amount of sugar to 2/3c. the first time I made it and the second time to 1/2c. You will notice a slight difference when you reduce the amount of sugar, but it's all really good. The texture of the pie is also great.

Artichoke and Sun-Dried Tomato Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2006
Very easy to make and very delicious! I couldn't find sun-dried pesto so I just used normal green pesto and added an extra tablespoon but didn't need it. I served it with biscuits which was great. It would also be great over pasta. The only thing is that the ingredients are expensive. Otherwise it was perfect!
