Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2014
Great meatloaf with a tasty zing. FYI...I did tweek it a TINY bit per other reviewers. I reduced the amount of brown sugar to 1/4 cup and the milk to 1/2 cup, put the ketchup and brown sugar on top of the loaf and 2 slices of bread on the bottom of the pan to soak up the grease.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2013
SoOoO Good!!! This was the easiest recipe I think I've ever made. I prepared it following the recipe to a tee. The turkey was literally falling off the bone, I barely had to slice it. Tender, juicy, perfect. We do like the skin a little crispier though, so next time I might put it under the broiler for a few minutes. Other than that I cannot wait to make it again!!

Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2013
You really can't go wrong with this recipe. It's sooo easy and my whole family loves it. I've made it a bunch of times. The first time as written (but butter and milk in potatoes, not the liquid) and it was really tasty. The next time I add worchestire sauce, onions and garlic to the meat while browning, and it was even better. I think any way you make this dish, it will turn out great!! Thanks STP!!!

Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2012
So yummy! My husband even loves it and he's pretty picky. Followed the recipe to a tee. The only thing I added was an extra can of beef broth and a cup of pastini noodles (tiny little star noodles). Mmmm mmmm good!!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
Oh my, sooo good! My husband actually asks for it at least once a month. I only made a couple of adjustments (as per other's suggestions). I added one chicken bullion cube, a cup of cut up potato, and instead of celery seed (because I was out) I used garlic powder. FANTASTIC AMAZING!!! WILL ABSOLUTELY make over and over again.

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
Very nearly THE BEST mac and cheese I've ever had. I'm in love with the mac and cheese at Tully's restaurants, this comes pretty close. I did as the other reviewers suggested and doubled up on the cheese and half and half. And I used penne noodles instead of elbow. The next time I don't think I'll let it bake as long. Maybe half the time and broil it for 5 minutes to crisp up the top. Thanks for an AMAZING recipe that my family loved.

Amazing chicken dish. I left off the bacon and used light sour cream and it was still awesome. Even my picky husband liked it.

Beef Burgundy III

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2006
GREAT RECIPE!!! My husband hates wine, but I'm so tired of making the same old stuff for dinner, this was perfect. The wine taste isn't overpowering, it's very easy to make, and goes great over anything (I prefer putting it over rice rather than noodles) It was very good. Thanks Lorrie!!

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2006
If you are looking for the best Salisbury steak recipe, this is ABSOLUTELY IT!!! So good, sooo easy to make. And very easy to adjust fat content by using 95% lean beef, 1% or skim milk, and one can of low fat cream of chicken and one regular instead of 2 regular. Have made it at least 10 times. Me and my family LOVE this recipe!!

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2006
This Pulled Pork recipe is fantastic. It's probably the easiest thing I've ever made for dinner. I used the pork loin roast and liquid smoke as other reviewers suggested and it turned out GREAT. The meat just fell right apart. My husband (a very picky eater)ate the leftovers for days!!! Thanks so much Sarge!!!
