Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2004
OMG, yum! I followed the recipe exactly, and they were so good and easy (of course I have a stand mixer, which helped). They stayed soft for DAYS, which is unheard of in my house.

Butterscotch Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2004
This was awesome! I made it for Thanksgiving, and it was declared the best bread pudding anyone had ever had! I used good sweet French bread from a bakery, which might have made a difference, I don't know. I've been asked to make it again for Christmas!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

I can't see how people would say this was bland. It was SO good and flavorful. I ate ALL of the leftovers myself! :)

Chicken Breasts with Herb Basting Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2004
Very good ... I used a roasting pan and poured a can of chicken broth in the bottom to use for basting. The second time I made it, I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts and cooked at 375 for 20 minuted covered and 30 minutes uncovered, per someone else'e review. It was a lot spicier that way, but still really good and juicy.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2002
Super easy and very, very good. The chicken was so tender, you could cut it with a fork (of course, I pounded it before I coated it). Even my husband ate it, even though I had made him a steak because I thought he wouldn't touch it. He loved it!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2002
Oh. My. God. What else do I need to say? These were AMAZING. I made them with a muffin tin that just does the muffin crowns (since that's the best part, anyway), and they came out super-moist and yummy. Unbelievably good when they're warm, too. Be careful -- you'll eat them all yourself! :)

Manicotti

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2002
This was great ... even my extremely picky husband loved it. I had a little trouble filling the manicotti, but with my husband's help, it was a success! I had a lot of the cheese mixture left over (I filled 10 manicotti) so I spread it over the tops of the manicotti, then topped it with sauce, then mozarella and parmesan. A relatively easy, yummy meal!

Incredibly Delicious Italian Cream Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2002
I had never made a layer cake before this one, and it came out SO good! By some miracle, all of my layers came out perfectly flat, so the cake looked really nice when it was frosted. I brought it to work for 2 coworkers' birthdays, and everyone raved about it. One guy even offered to make me one of his famous tri-tips if I make him a bowl of the frosting! I did use some extra coconut in the frosting, since I wanted to get ride of the bag, and I topped the cake with some coconut for a garnish. Overall, very moist and bakery quality!!

Cheesy Onion Roll-Ups

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2002
I made these for a party, and someone said, "These are surprisingly good!" I think that was a compliment. :) It made a TON, but they all got gobbled up. I served them with hot and mild salsa, and they were a hit!

Super-simple and super-good! I made a big batch of it and kept it in the fridge to make wraps whenever I want!

Cucumber Sandwich

Reviewed: May 18, 2002
I am not a vegetarian, but this was SO good. I made it into a wrap with spinach tortillas, and it was great. I ate one for lunch, then one for dinner. Has enough kick that you really don't miss the meat at all. Thanks for the great recipe!

Apple Strudel Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2002
These were unbelievable! I layered some of the strudel in with the muffins, and they were amazing. My husband and I ate all of them ourselves (oops!). They're even BETTER, if that's possible, when they're warm.

This was so easy, and so good, that I will definitely make it again. I gave a few to a coworker at dinner and he wolfed them down. Thanks for a great recipe!

Breaded Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2001
This was the best chicken I have ever made! The marinating definitely adds a certain something, I think. My extremely picky husband gobbled these up and keeps asking me to make more. A definite winner. Oh, I deep-fried them and they came out PERFECT.
