I love to cook as my mother was a Home Economic teacher. She taught me not to be afraid to experiment...to never be afraid of HOT water and yeast and if it tastes bad and salt or sugar won't fix it......theres no saving it...pitch it and order a pizza. Oh and a Hershey bar is the best chocolate you can get don't be fooled by high prices.

Learning how to perfect my moms crescent rolls. We always took for granted that my mom would whip up 4 or 5 batches for everything. Thats a lot of work oh but worth the effort. One day soon I will get the nerve to post the recipe.

I like to forget those.

Grandma's Noodles II
Great recipe. Very easy. Turned out perfect.I used my pasta machine and the baking powder. Delish. Next time I will only add the baking powder when using these with chicken and noodles and will omit for things like Alfredo etc.

Cheesy Thumbprint Appetizers with Hot Pepper Jelly
Mine did not turn out as planned however I know these are very good when made properly. I used my Tabasco Pineapple Pepper Jelly which was a little runny and they ended up a sticky peach colored mess. Honestly, I knew better. Next time I will bake, put thumbprint then bake again til done, let cool then drizzle my jelly. Also they need a touch of salt as well. I gave these 4 stars because with store bought Jelly they would have been fine.

Soft Sugar Cookies V
Great recipe. Tastes wonderful like shortbread/sugar from the bakery. Didn't change the recipe except added a little extra flour (about 1/4 cup).I cut out with a water glass, it made two dozen (minus one we ate the raw dough). Split into 3 baggies put in freezer for an hour, they cut and baked perfectly. Baked about 8 at a time on parchment paper and kept dough refrigerated in between. Used "sugar cookie icing" on this site. They look very close to bakery style. I have a feeling I will get requests for these. Next time I will ice them prettier I was in a hurry and had to go with Red/Blue for our school colors.
