Cracklin' Bread II

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2007
I have had this cracklin bread several times and each time is an experience in itself. I have cooked it for several other people and everybody just loves it. Being from the South it is hard to find any true southern cooking in Lansing, MI until I came across this recipe. It is very easy to make and does not consume a lot of time. Will definently make this again very tasty and reminds me of a taste of Alabama very good recipe.

I liked this recipe a lot especially with all the veggies that are in it I cooked it in a crock pot for the flavors could cook up more and to avoid scorching it's a nice way to warm up on a chilly day

Amber's Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2006
Actually this dish was not that bad and I would consider making it again the only drawback came from this dish not being flavorful enough but that can be easily over come by adding extra seasoning

General Tsao's Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2006
I love General Tsao's Chicken and when I go out it is one dish I make sure I get off the buffet. However I followed this recipe to the "t" and it did not turn out as I expected that it would. To much cornstarch was one of the identified culprits nor was the sauce suitable to light my tastebuds. However this recipe can still work out if you add some sweet chili sauce for chicken which you can get at the oriental cooking store in place of the sauce that goes with the recipe. Like I said this dish was dissapointing to a certain degree but can still be savaged.

Chinese Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2006
Since the first time that I tried this I have been in love with this dish that is very easy to make. Every time that I make pork chops I make them this way all except for one time when I tried another recipe that was just a waste of time. I was courious one day and tried this marinate on ribs and I was not at all dissapointed. Great recipe

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2006
This is a very good recipe, taste great, easy to prepare, easy to cook, taste great on a bed of either boiled/steam rice, just enough spice for heated flavor but not to much to disguise the flavor of the shrimp. I make it about every week and it goes good on top of mashed patatoes would diffenently recomend it perfect bacholer dish anyone could make this as long as you can read.

Atomic Canuck Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2006
This recipe is the "BOMB" I like it hot and this did not dissapoint me in the least bit. All the ingredients where right own however I substituted white whine vinegar for the beer because I do not drink. But I did notice that the vegetables where too crunchy so next time I think I may boil them (especially the carrots before I add them. Other than that there was not nearly a thing wrong with it. But when family visits I think I will make a mild version (without the extreme heat) for those who can't stand the heat. I give this recipe ***** and a milky way

I don't think this dish was all bad at the same time it's not all it's not all that it's supposed to be the peanut butter more or less ruined the taste so then I tried it with some alfredo sauce and it was just a little better but it was well seasoned still could have used probally some cayanne pepper or something else hot
