Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2010
This was great. I tried what another reviewer wrote and used ketchup in place of the tomato sauce. I used a mix of ketchup and barbeque sauce. Very easy and delicious.

Mint Chocolate Cookie Crunch

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
These were so yummy! They reminded me of a Girl Scout thin mint cookie. They are not very pretty and you may want to add some decorative sprinkles or something if you are making these for Christmas. The chocolate seemed to "seize up" when I added the extract. But they still tasted great.

Maple Salmon

This was wonderful. We always have these ingredients in the house which makes the recipe even better! Not only did it taste great, but it was lovely. We will definitely be having this again soon.

Pecan Crusted Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2007
What a lovely salad. I made this for a luncheon I hosted and it was both pretty and delicious. I made a few changes by using the light creamy caesar dressing for the breading and a vinegrette for the dressing. Thanks for the recipe.

My husband really loved this. It reminded me of Bob Evan's chicken and noodles with cheese added.

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
My whole family enjoyed this. I was surprised that the kids(8,4,1) would eat it as they usually don't like things mixed together. Like other reviews, I also changed some things. I used one can of soup and added some sour cream. I also mixed everything together and added frozen corn and a can of black beans. We will definitely eat this again.

Tasty. My family really enjoyed this. I followed the recipe as is and could think of no changes that would improve it.

Onion Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2007
This was quite good! Looking at the ingredients, you can't tell it will be so flavorful. I used butter instead of oil and added some chopped garlic too. We will definitely be having this again.

This was nice and easy and will be great for soccer practice nights when you want dinner ready when you get home. Next time, I will use jarred sauce to make it even faster.

Cordon Bleu Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2007
These were wonderful! My whole family loved them including my 8 year old and 18 month old. They presented very well and would look lovely for company as well. I did decrease the cooking time to 35 minutes and cooked it at 350 degrees as other reviews suggested.

Country Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2007
This was okay. I don't think I'll make it again but it was good in that all the ingredients are readily on hand. Didn't really have any "oomph" that makes a recipe stand out. It reminds me of comfort food though.

Bar Cookies from Cake Mix

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2007
These were good. I probably undercooked them a little(after reading reviews not to overcook). I think they would be even better cooked a little longer. I cooked them for about 25 minutes in a convection oven. I made two batches and used a yellow cake for one and a devil's food for the other. Both turned out great. Our church takes cookies to the rescue mission every month so it's nice to have new recipes to try. This one was great because I already had all the ingredients at home.

Beefy Baked Ravioli

This is such a fast recipe and everyone in my house likes it! I like that you can leave the ravioli frozen when you add it to the casserole. Every little bit helps!

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2006
I am not very familiar with Indian food at all so this was all new. We enjoyed it but I'm not sure I'll make it again. Interesting combination of spices, I also left out all added salt. My 8 year old loved it!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2006
I agree that these are more cake-like, but delicious. I made them for a friend's birthday and her family loved them. They look very pretty on a plate and the icing allows you to drizzle it and make them look more elegant than a regular cookie.

Snickerdoodles I

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2006
These were great. Just like you remember from when you were a kid. They crisped up a little overnight (don't you wish they were warm always?) but were still yummy.
