Eggplant Bake

This is the best eggplant recipe I have ever made. I fried the eggplant on the stove and coated it in cornmeal and parmesan due to dietary restrictions I couldnt use the breadcrumbs. I used monterey jack for the cheese on top and added crumbled bacon (which definitely made it more flavorful and yummy) and sliced fresh mushrooms. I baked it at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes. My husband liked it and didnt comment that he ate a mostly meatless meal. Thanks for the great recipe!

No Bake Cheesecake I

Easy... No fake stuff (I.e. Whipped topping)... It tastes great! Hubby said it needed a topping so I guess that's where the strawberries come in. Recipe is a keeper! Thanks!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

I made this exactly as stated, except that I topped it with blueberries (baked on). I cooked a 12 pkg of blueberries with 2tbsp flour and 4 tbsp cold water. I cooked it until it was thickened, about 10 minutes. It was wonderful...and perfectly cooked. My only problem was I didn't have a springform pan, so I used a cake pan and the crust ended up being soft and sticking to the bottom (although i greased it.)

Amazing! Also, I have added diced garlic and onion in lieu of the green onion, which makes it spicy, and that is amazing too! Thanks for the recipe.

Pepperoni Stuffed Mushrooms

Awesome. The only thing I changed was I added crushed cheese-garlic croutons instead of buttery crackers and I added a bit of water instead of chicken broth. I also didn't let the mixture cool before filing. Delicous.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Bought a last minute fresh turkey and put it on my covered roaster. Fell asleep while it was cooking and it cooked probably 7 hours. Not burnt to a crisp thanks to the water an it's falling off the bone! Thanks for the great recipe!

Strawberry, Ginger and Mint Sekanjabin

So amazing! I had never heard of Sekanjabin before, but I googled it and now I know...But anyway I was afraid to use the white balsamic vinegar, but it is SO GOOD! my 2 year old daughter loves it! It is perfect prepared as written. The strawberry taste is great. The store had Pear infused white balsamic as well as Raspberry infused for the same price and I think that may taste good as well. Thanks!

Candy Bar Pie II

After eating this at a local restaurant I knew I had to find the recipe! It is the best pie I have ever eaten and the restaurant serves it ice cold, with the top like a cheesecake and the center soft like a custard...the texture of the snickers nougat at the bottom is awesome and they serve it with chocolate sauce mixed with chopped peanuts mixed in as the topping instead of semisweet chocolate. Thanks for the recipe!

No Bake Cookies IV

I made these about a year ago and they were amazing! Didn't save the recipe so I spent about an hour searing go it on allrecipes and finally had to goggle the ingredients to find it! (tried ingredient search too) the name is just so alike the others when the recipe is totally different! That's my only complaint. These are like mini fudge oat balls. Amazing!

Jesse and Steve's Fresh Strawberry Cake

I made a large layer cake with this recipe. I doubled it. I spent hours scouring the internet for the best strawberry cake and settled on this one. Made it exactly like the recipe. Dense, dry, bready, and not very sweet or strawberry like. I have made other natural scratch strawberry cakes, and this was not one of the better ones, in my opinion. It would be tasty warmed up with lots of frosting. If I made it again I would use oil instead of butter because it creates a moister crumb, and add about 1/2 cup buttermilk for moisture.

Pumpkin Roll-Out Cookies

I like this cookie. I did make a few minor adjustments, by zesting an entire orange...which made maybe 1.5 tablespoons instead of one and by using only cinnamon to flavor the pumpkin, because thats what I had on hand. I also used fresh pumpkin that I roasted and then boiled down. They taste orangey like that, but I think it tastes better with more orange flavor. They were ok to roll out.As long as you have enough flour dusted it doesnt stick. I cut them in halloween shapes and I will be making them for halloween! Thanks for the recipe.

Fresh Pumpkin Pie

It was perfect when I followed reviews to decrease honey to 3/4 cup. 50 minutes and mine is slightly burnt. I also ha enough filling for 2 9" pies. Great honey flavor & great overall pie. Thanks for the recipe.

Cake Mixes from Scratch and Variations

I made the yellow cake following the advice of other users. I increased the milk to 1 1/2 cups and used canola oil instead of shortening. it turned out moist and wonderful! I also frosted it with the Almost Professional Buttercream Icing from this site. It is great. I give it 5 stars with these modifications.
