My husband, as well as my 3,5 & 7 year old enjoyed this dish. I followed the advice of others and used fresh spinach, and mushrooms sauteed with minced garlic. I also used uncooked chicken to speed up the process. Unfortunately, I ended up having to cook the casserole for 20 more minutes anyway and had a watery dish from the chicken juices. I would make this again, still using sauteed fresh veggies but i'd precook the chicken while preparing everything else. The sauce adds plenty of moisture to the meat. I would buy a fresh cut of Parmesian and hand grate it. The grated Parm for topping pizza is way too salty.
