About this Cook
I'm married to a great guy, I have 3 kids, he has 4, but only one still living at home, and 2 dogs and a cat.
My favorite things to cook
I'll try cooking just about anything, but the part i hate is planning on what to cook. If someone said "here's your meal plan for the week", I'd be ecstatic!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year for Christmas we have roast beef and yorkshire pudding.
My cooking triumphs
Any time i get those yorkshire puddings to rise nice and high, it's a wonderful thing!
My cooking tragedies
When i read a recipe that gets wonderful reviews and it comes out uneventful...

Anniversary Chicken I
i made this tonite with minor changes...i used chicken tenders, didn't saute before i baked it and put foil on while baking, and used teriyaki glaze instead of soy as one reviewer suggested...i baked it for 30 mins and it came out great as far as doneness and tenderness..it was good, but not what i was expecting given the rave reviews from everyone...i would not make this for company...i might make it again, but only if i can't think of anything else to do with the same ingredients...

Chinese Napa Cabbage Salad
i've been making this recipe for years and love it! i always add the little packet in the ramen noodles in with the dressing and also buy the packages of cole slaw cabbage already shredded with carrots...so much easier and a little more color...
